In the swing state of Florida an ex-felon can have their voting rights returned if all fines have been paid off. Billionaire Michael Bloomberg is paying thousands of dollars to pay off these fines, to enable them to regain their voting rights in time for the election.
The amendment, known as the Voting Rights Restoration for Felons Initiative, would see the voting rights of 1.4 million felons reinstated. The amendment was championed by American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the Brennan Center for Justice. Both organizations are heavily funded by George Soros.
Bloomberg has already raised $16,000 to pay the fines of 32,000 felons it has been reported.
Florida officials in the counties of Palm Beach and Broward are angry at plans to send 1000s of illegal immigrants to them in the coming weeks. The authorities have said they would be unable to cope with such a large influx of immigrants into their region.
President Trump has previously said he was considering sending illegal immigrants awaiting processing to sanctuary cities to alleviate the pressure on the States and towns around the Mexican border.
The President had told reporters: “We’ll bring them to sanctuary city areas and let that particular area take care of it…… They say we have open arms, they’re always saying they have open arms, let’s see if they have open arms.”
On Friday, a YouTube video of Florida legislators in a committee hearing was uploaded. They were shocked during the proceedings on a bill to require medical care to an infant who survives an abortion when a Planned Parenthood lobbyist endorsed a right to post-birth abortions.
The lobbyist representing the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, Alisa LaPolt Snow, testified that her organization believes the woman seeking an abortion and her abortion doctor should be the ones to make the decision to kill an infant who survives a failed abortion.
Rep. Jim Boyd: “So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief. If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?”
Planned Parenthood lobbyist Snow: “We believe that any decision that’s made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician.”
Rep. Daniel Davis: “What happens in a situation where a baby is alive, breathing on a table, moving. What do your physicians do at that point?”
Snow: “I do not have that information. I am not a physician, I am not an abortion provider. So I do not have that information.”
Later Rep. Jose Oliva continued: “You stated that a baby born alive on a table as a result of a botched abortion that that decision should be left to the doctor and the family. Is that what you’re saying?”
Snow: “That decision should be between the patient and the health care provider.”
Oliva: “I think that at that point the patient would be the child struggling on the table, wouldn’t you agree?”
Snow: “That’s a very good question. I really don’t know how to answer that. I would be glad to have some more conversations with you about this.”

From states across the country, Americans have filed petitions on the White House Web site seeking to secede from the union and form new state governments.
Petitions have been filed for Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
White House will respond to any petition that receives 25,000 or more signatures within 30 days.
The petitions from Louisiana and Texas, however, are approaching the threshold for a response.
This last week has seen millions of peoples lives devastated by Super-Storm Sandy. Sandy was formed in the Caribbean and it took nine days until Sandy finally began to dissipate over Pennsylvania:
A depression forms off the coast of Nicaragua in the South Caribbean Sea.
Sandy becomes a category 1 hurricane, and passes the Dominican Republic and Haiti. 50 people die in Haiti in mudslides caused by heavy rain.
Sandy strikes Cuba as a category 2 hurricane (only 1 mph away from being a category 3). Cuba is left devastated.
As Sandy approaches Florida the hurricane deflects off Florida into the Atlantic, and weakens to a tropical depression.
As Sandy travels up parallel to the east coast the storm begins to strengthen. Sandy becomes a category 1 hurricane again, and starts to turn towards Baltimore, Washington. Philadelphia, and New York.
Sandy makes a sharp turn towards New Jersey. Sandy hits shore around 8pm, near Atlantic City. The full moon adds to the storm surge. The coast of New Jersey, and New York is devastated by the 14 foot surge.
The storm moves away from New York towards Pennsylvania and begins to weaken.
Super-Storm Sandy left 109 people dead in America, with 40 of the deaths in New York alone. Millions were left without power, gas, or food for days. It is estimated the damage caused by the storm will cost $50 billion.
The latest poll, published today, suggests a dead heat between Obama and Romney in the race for the White House.
With six days to go until the election, no one can predict which way the election will go. Within the key swing states, it appears Romney has a slight lead over Obama in Florida. Florida has 29 electoral votes up for grabs.
In the pivotal state of Ohio, polls either show the race tied or Obama with a slight lead. No Republican has ever been elected President without the Buckeye states 18 electoral votes.
For both President Obama and Republican Romney the next 6 days will be crucial, both men have all to play for in their bid to be Commander in Chief for the next four years.
President Obama and Republican hopeful Mitt Romney are preparing for the final of the Presidential election debate in Florida. This final debate will take place on Monday 22nd, October. No Presidential election is unimportant, but this year is arguably the most important election we have had for many years. Obama and Romney have very different ideological stand points, and America is clearly facing many challenges.
After the first two debates Romney has made gains in the polls and is now ahead of the President in some polls, with others have the result tied.
The third debate will focus mainly on foreign policy. Libya was a major clashing point for the second debate. President Obama is in Camp David preparing of the debate, and Romney is preparing in Florida.

Hawley, Pennsylvania. State Police report a Doylestown man, while naked and bleeding excessively, was “screaming like an animal” and was “gnawing” on a woman’s head.
The incident occurred early September 7th in Hawley Boro, Pennsylvania.
The suspect Richard Ciminio is 20 years old.
According to investigators, Ciminio unsuccessfully tried to break into a home while dressed only in underwear. After his first attempt, he then stripped down completely and succeeded in breaking into another home.
While in the property, he jumped out of a second floor window which led to his many injuries. Apparently unfazed, he continued down the street where he approached two women walking. Again, according to reports, Ciminio “tackled” one women and “began to gnaw” on her head “while screaming like an animal”.
Upon Police and medic arrival it was reported that Ciminio’s “delusional and confrontational behavior” did not stop, despite being tasered.
According to the investigators, they are not sure if anything caused Ciminio’s behavior.
This report is eerily similar to a Florida story earlier this year.
Tropical Storm Isaac is heading through the Gulf of Mexico towards New Orleans, Louisiana. Some meteorologists have predicted Isaac could make landfall as a category 2 hurricane on the seventh anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Hurricane Katrina was the most expensive natural disaster to hit America.
Tropical Storm Isaac, already caused the Republication Party convention in Florida to be delayed a day.
Isaac has already killed at least 20 people in Haiti and the Dominican Republic, and has caused oil production in the Gulf to be halted.
