DALAI LAMA – DELHI GANG RAPISTS SHOULD NOT BE EXECUTED

The Dalai Lama, visiting the Jaipur region near New Delhi in India, has asked that mercy be shown in the case of the men accused of last month’s brutal gang rape and murder of a woman on a bus in New Delhi.

The Tibetan leader has been a steadfast opponent of the death penalty, which contradicts the Buddhist philosophy of nonviolence.

In July 2011, the Dalai Lama, then 76 years old, traveled to Chicago, where he praised Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn for abolishing the death penalty in his state.

The Delhi rape case has sparked debate over the Indian legal system, and public anger has been directed at officials in a city informally christened India’s “rape capital,” according to Reuters.

100 YEAR OLD DEATHBED DREAMS OF MATHEMATICIAN PROVED TRUE

Over a hundred years ago, a young Indian wrote a letter to the leading mathematician of his time, G. H. Hardy of Cambridge University. Hardy realised that the mathematics in Srinivasa Ramanujan’s letter was brilliant, that the self-taught mathematician from rural India had discovered some of the fundamental theories of mathematics, with no formal training.

Hardy invited Ramanujan to England, and the two men worked together for five years. In those five years Ramanujan set the world of mathematics ablaze with his new and exciting ideas.

However, the English weather took it’s toll on the young Indian, and as his health failed he returned to India. As he lay dying, he wrote to Hardy telling him of mysterious functions he had seen in a dream. The devout Hindu, believed that the goddess Namagiri had shown them to him.

Now a team of mathematicians from Emory University have proved that these functions are true, “We’ve solved the problems from his last mysterious letters. For people who work in this area of math, the problem has been open for 90 years,” Emory University mathematician Ken Ono said.

A ‘Superpower’ That Couldn’t Keep the Lights On

Things are not so bright in India right now.

Initially we saw corruption of a magnitude not seen in the developed world.  Then we saw a tax on the job creators.  The economy therefore predictably slowed and the rupee devalued.

Now India’s infrastructure is showing its frailties and is demonstrating how it can’t keep the darkness at bay.

This has affected over 600 million people, maybe more.

PORN VIEWER JOINS MYSTIFYING SEX HEADACHE CLUB

Over two years, every time a 24 year old bachelor who lived in India watched pornography he experienced such a severe headache that it forced him to stop watching.

Dr. Amy Gelfand, a neurologist at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, says that there are two types of headaches associated with sexual activity.

Sex headaches are a mystery regardless of the type and no one really knows what causes them, says Gelfand.

There are no suggested links between headaches and specific sexual behaviors that have been found in studies by researchers.

The physical and neurological exam results were reportedly normal.

The man was advised to take a combination of different medications which, apparently, are helping.

Totally Drug Resistant TB has emerged in India

For most TB, Tuberculosis, is a disease of their grandparents generation. For them it was the feared lung disease, also known as consumption, which has cost millions of lives down the ages.

With the discovery of antibiotics, TB became a disease of the past.

However, in India a Totally Drug-Resistant form of Tuberculosis  (TDR-TB) has emerged, with a mortality rate of 50%. Could TB again become a disease feared in the West? The wrathful deities of Hinduism and Buddhism (the Dalai Lama’s base is in the north of the country) rule the spirit in India – these seek to bring death. Only the Spirit of God, being given pre-eminence in a region produces health and life.

The World’s First Biometric ID Database

As technologies become ever more sophisticated the possibilities they bring to governments raise very serious issues about civil liberties. India is embarking on a Social Security database, which issues every one of it’s 1.2 billion people with a Unique Identification Number (UID). This number is linked to biometric data about that individual, such as their fingerprint, iris, and photograph; thus making identity cards very difficult to falsify.

The thinking behind this database is to combat the rampant social security fraud in the nation. Therefore, linking an individuals entitlements to healthcare, welfare, education etc to the database will make it harder for people to claim as bogus individuals.

However, they plan to allow banks and local government, as well as other institutions access to the database, thus allowing the database to be used to authorize payments to people’s bank accounts. This could pave the way for a cashless society.

The company who are providing the technology behind the scheme have admitted that this scheme could be used to “support a cashless society”.

Governments throughout the world are gathering vast amounts of data on their citizens, and the technology available to them is developing at such a rate that a cashless society, in which people are monitored 24/7, is  not just the stuff of Orwellian fiction but a very real possibility.
