CUTTING EDGE CHURCH IN MANHATTAN NEW YORK EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY

International Church of the Gates, New York, was officially started 31st March 2005, and is about to celebrate it’s eighth anniversary.

The official opening coincided with the sword of William Wallace being paraded through the streets of New York; the first time the sword had left Scotland in 700 years.

The church was planted in Manhattan New York, in order to build a spiritual wall of protection around the city, so the city would be protected from further destruction like that seen on 9/11.

For many years DPM (founder of the church) was inspired by Mel Gibson’s films and has been revealing the Biblical stories or the spirit the films were of, illustrating spiritual truths.

For example: Braveheart – William Wallace (played by Mel Gibson), couldn’t understand why those leaders whom we admire that seek to rule over us, (represented by the “religious system” currently in place) compromised with the enemy instead of destroying him.

Since these leaders wouldn’t fight, God Himself rose up from the ranks of the common man in Scotland, one of the spirit of David if you will, a man to raise an army to overthrow the ruling demonic principalities (then represented by England).  He gathered some comrades together and did battle, and Scotland (God’s people) were free of the ruling principality forever.

The same sword used by the actual historical William Wallace, has never left Scotland and has remained as a historical treasure for over 700 years to this day!

Scotland prophesied, the enemy would never have William Wallace’s sword!

This sword has ALWAYS meant FREEDOM! (as Mel Gibson so eloquently put it!)

Before the New Years Trip to Manhattan NY, DPM had no desire whatsoever to go.

But told God he would be obedient and asked if God would please warm up the weather for him.

Results? 2005 News Years Eve in Times Square was one of the warmest in centuries.

The day before leaving for NY, Prophets told DPM that men would begin to hear what DPM had been speaking for years, as the rule of the religious vail was broken.

Then, at the end of the New Years Eve trip God gave DPM a dream, a ruling principality, confronting DPM says: “You stole my WATCH, and I want it back!

DPM understood this to mean one level of controlling spirit had lost it’s foot hold over the city/nation, and that the fight was on to completely eradicate that which resisted the rule of the Spirit of God over our media cities, which control our perception of God and the perception over our nation.

The spirit DPM took the “watch” from, represents a ‘religious spirit’, which blinds many of today’s Christians as to the gifting and power of the Holy Spirit that God has given us, so we could truly rule and reign over ALL the works of the enemy!

What does all this have to do with the new church plant in New York?

TIME LINE:

Thursday March 31 2005, the New York Church in Manhattan NY officially opened.

Friday April 1 2005 the sword of William Wallace, which represents freedom from tyranny, left Scotland for the first time in 700 years and arrived in New York!

Saturday April 2 2005, Pope John Paul II died. In a sense, this represents the old religious system or procedure that is passing away, making way for a fresh, new move of God that indeed is already here.

And on the eve of the anniversary, only one month ago, did the following Pope quit his office…

NORTH KOREA RELEASES VIDEO APPARENTLY SHOWING THE ATTACK OF A US CITY

North Korea’s official government website released a propaganda video showing a young man sleeping and having a dream. In his dream the man goes in a space shuttle and orbits the earth. The dream shows a missile being launched, similar to one the rogue state tested in December last year.

The dream then shows a unified Korea, and an image of the America flag. This is followed by images of a city like New York under attack.

“Somewhere in the United States, black clouds of smoke are billowing,” runs the caption across the screen.

“It seems that the nest of wickedness is ablaze with the fire started by itself,” it added.

The music in the background is “We Are the World”. The video ends with the young man waking up and with him concluding this dream will “surely come true”.

It is expected that North Korea will soon perform more nuclear tests, despite further UN sanctions imposed in December.

NY GUNMAN:” KILLING IS WHAT I DO BEST”

The gunman who shot dead two firefighters in upstate New York, left a note saying “Killing is what I do best.”

In the note William Spengler, 62, also said he wanted to burn down his neighbourhood, and kill as many people as possible.

The charred remains of a woman were found in the burned out house, she is believed to be his sister.

Spengler used a Bushmaster semi-automatic rifle, the same used by Adam Lanza in the Sandy Hook Elementary school massacre.

Spengler, convicted of the manslaughter of his grandmother in 1981, was found dead of a self-inflicted gun shot wound hours after the killing of the fire fighters.

SUBWAY RIDER, ALLEGEDLY PUSHED, CAN’T SCRAMBLE OFF TRACKS IN TIME – LATIMES.COM

December 4, 2012, 7:19 a.m.

It’s a subway rider’s worst nightmare: being pushed onto the tracks. On Monday, it happened in midtown Manhattan where, according to witnesses, one man shoved another in front of an oncoming train, which crushed the victim to death before horrified onlookers.

Police on Tuesday were still searching for the alleged pusher, who was captured on surveillance video seconds before the attack in a verbal altercation with the victim, who was identified as 58-year-old Ki-Suck Han of Queens, N.Y. The attack occurred about 12:30 p.m.

Witnesses, who included scores of people standing on the platform at the station on West 49th Street and 7th Avenue, said Han tried to scramble back onto the platform after landing on the tracks a few feet below, but he was crushed between the side of the platform and the Q train, which slammed on its brakes but could not stop in time.

One witness facing the oncoming train repeatedly snapped his camera in hopes the flash would warn the conductor early enough to stop. Others on the platform waved their hands and yelled at the conductor as Han stood up from where he had landed, faced the train then began trying to climb off the tracks as the train sped toward him.

“There was a huge gasp from all the spectators,” the man who took pictures of the incident, R. Umar Abbasi, said of the moment when he saw Han pushed, the New York Post reported. “I just started running, running, hoping that the driver could see my flash,” said Abbasi.

Families return to Breezy Point after devastating fire during Hurricane Sandy destroys 111 houses – NY Daily News

NEw Yorkers comfort each other

Dozens of families returned to the tight-knit community of Breezy Point on Wednesday, on the western edge of the Rockaway peninsula in Queens, to assess the damage. They were confronted with scenes of utter devastation, with many houses still smoldering.

Homes that did not burn had major flood damage, and houses on waterfront sites suffered wind damage, with some homes blown off their foundations and smashed together.

Of the 2,800 homes in Breezy Point, 111 homes were completely destroyed, an FNDY official said Wednesday. And 20 homes had some level of fire damage.

Though there were only a few minor injuries reported among residents and firefighters, officials have not ruled out the possibility that there may have been fatalities in Breezy Point, said Joe Downey, FDNY Chief of Special Operations, who was conducting search and recovery on Wednesday.

Fire officials said the cause of the inferno, where more than 200 firefighters responded, remains unclear.

NANNY WHO KILLED CHILDREN HAD BECOME “UNSTABLE”

Yoselyn Ortega who stabbed brother and sister, Lucia and Leo Krim, had allegedly become unstable in recent weeks, and was attending a psychologist. A former neighbour told the media that Ortega had told her she “felt like she was losing her mind.”

The children’s nanny, who was found with a self-inflicted stab wound, was arrested after the stabbings inside the apartment at 57 West 75th Street, the police said.

One neighbor, who declined to give his name, reported hearing screams around 5:30 p.m., around the time that the children’s mother arrived home from work to find her children, boys ages 6 and 2, stabbed and in a bathtub.

The police declined to provide details about those stabbed. The police said the boys were pronounced dead at St. Luke’s Hospital, where the nanny was in extremely critical condition.

“It’s a chaotic scene,” a fire official said.

Neighbors watched nervously as several of those injured in the stabbing were taken out on stretchers and loaded into ambulances. The entire block, from Central Park West to Columbus Avenue, was shut down by the authorities.

The building, the La Rochelle, a block west of Central Park, is an 11-story prewar complex with grand columns at the entrance.

Obama team promises more aggressive president in second debate

Campaign advisers to President Barack Obama promised on Sunday he would be more aggressive and energetic on Tuesday in his second debate against Republican challenger Mitt Romney after a passive, heavily criticized performance in their first showdown.

Since that first debate in Denver on October 3, polls indicate Romney has erased Obama’s lead heading into the November 6 election. Obama and Romney debate again on Tuesday October 16th, at  Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.

The third and final presidential debate will take place on October 22 in Florida.

“Obviously, the president was disappointed in his own performance. He didn’t meet his expectations,” Obama campaign adviser Robert Gibbs told the CNN program “State of the Union,” referring to the first debate.

“He knew when he walked off that stage and he also knew as he’s watched the tape of that debate that he’s got to be more energetic. I think you’ll see somebody who’s very passionate about the choice that our country faces – and putting that choice in front of voters,” Gibbs added.

The Romney team sounded unimpressed. “Well, the president can change his style. He can change his tactics. He can’t change his record. And he can’t change his policies. And that’s what this election is about,” Romney campaign adviser Ed Gillespie told CNN.

“I think the race is very close. I think the wind is at Governor Romney’s back, and there’s clearly momentum. You can see it on the trail, you can see it in the data,” Gillespie said in a separate appearance on “Fox News Sunday.”

In contrast to Obama’s listless debate performance, Vice President Joe Biden was far more assertive in his debate on Thursday night with Romney’s running mate Paul Ryan in Danville, Kentucky.

Another Obama campaign adviser, David Axelrod, told the “Fox News Sunday” program: “I think he’s going to be aggressive in making the case for his view of where we should go as a country, a country that’s built around a growing, thriving middle class, not this top-down theory that Governor Romney has.”

“But the other thing he’s going to certainly do – I mean, we saw Governor Romney sort of serially walk away from his own proposals – certainly the president is going to be willing to challenge him on it as we saw the vice president challenge Paul Ryan,” Axelrod said.

California Muni Bankruptcies, A Spreading ‘Disease’

“In California, we have a disease, and the disease is spreading,” spoken by David Kotok, the chief investment officer with Cumberland Advisors at the State & Municipal Finance Conference which was hosted by Bloomberg Link in New York.

Kotok is referring to municipal bankruptcies in California.  Three cities have filed and a fourth city, Atwater, is preparing a vote on whether or not to declare a fiscal emergency.  That would allow bankruptcy to follow.  They would join other California cities such as Stockton, San Bernardino and Mammoth Lakes who have already filed for bankruptcy.

In August, Moody’s Investor Service indicated that cities in California may be looking at “across-the-board rating revisions”.

According to David Crane who is a public policy speaker with Stanford University and a prior special advisor to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, these bankruptcies are “largely a self-inflicted wound… Nobody forced legislators and council members to make promises — unfunded promises amounting to hundreds of billions of dollars — to their benefit, to their political benefit.”
