NORTH KOREA POISED TO STRIKE US

In an emergency meeting early Friday morning, Mr. Kim was photographed signing an order directing rocket units on standby to strike the US and South Korean targets at any time. This was prompted after a nuclear-capable US B-2 stealth bomber was part of joint military drills with South Korea hours earlier. The photographs published by the state-run Rodong newspaper included one with a chart labeled “US mainland strike plan” with trajectories of missiles in the vicinity of Hawaii, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, and Austin, Texas.

The official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported Mr. Kim as stating that: In the event of any “reckless” US provocation, North Korean forces should “mercilessly strike the US mainland … military bases in the Pacific, including Hawaii and Guam, and those in South Korea.”

Though North Korea has no proven ability strike the US mainland, Mr Kim said: “The time has come to settle accounts with the US imperialists.”

Two men had an altercation, included firing guns at each other, between the academic building and library at Lone Star College Harris Campus in Houston, Texas, according to its Chancellor, Richard Carpenter. The campus was locked down by police while the situation was assessed and the shooters were in custody. The surrounding Aldine School District’s 4 campuses were also secured during this time.

Texas is a concealed carry state, but Lone Star College is a gun-free zone with a policy which does not allow guns on campus. Even with this policy, witnesses stated that each man drew a pistol, one from his backpack and the other from a jacket.

According to the school spokesman Jed Young, students were caught in the crossfire of two shooters. Of the more than 10,000 students on campus today, 3 people were shot and one woman suffered a heart attack.

There are various reports accounting for the wounded,a maintenance worker who was shot in the leg and innocent victims included a student and a teacher. One of the shooters was reported to be among the injured. The two victims taken to Ben Taub Hospital were reported to have multiple gunshot wounds and were in “relatively serious conditions.” Both were taken into surgery.

The second shooter turned himself in at the hospital after being hunted by tracking dogs in the surrounding woods.

The Drepung Loseling Monastery in Atlanta sent 10 monks to create a Sand Mandala Project in the Rapaport Atriun at Blanton Museum of Art on Texas University, at Austin’s campus. This is to be the culminating event of the exhibit of  “Into the Sacred City: Tibetan Buddhist Deities from the Theos Bernard Collection.”

The display included eight rare Tibetan works, which have never been exhibited publicly before, from the University of California, Berkley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAM/PFA). There are five mandalas and three thangkas from the 15th to 20th centuries exploring the art and religion of Tibet.

Today marked the end to the exhibit as well as the work of the monks on the Sand Mandala Project as they performed the dissolution ceremony showing the impermanence of all that exists. Upon its conclusion, half of the sand was given out to those in attendance, followed by a procession to Waller Creek at about 3:30 pm where the other half of the sand mandala was dispersed in the water. The mandala was created for the healing of living beings and the environment.

White House Attempt To Give Millions To Egypt Meets Resistance

On Friday, Congress was notified by the Obama administration that it would be sending $450 million to Egypt.  This $450 million is part of a $1 billion package that Obama had pledged to Egypt in 2011 for debt forgiveness to the United States.

The administration however has met resistance.

The direction of Egypt’s course under the Muslim Brotherhood, its policies, local protests against the American Embassy located in Cairo and how the Obama administration has handled crisis in Islamic regions has left some wondering why the US continues to send aid.

Kay Granger, a Texan Republican who is chairwoman of the House appropriations subcommittee that is responsible for managing foreign aid, said that she would block this aid distribution.

The US relationship with Egypt “has never been under more scrutiny” than it is now.  Granger goes on to say, “I am not convinced of the urgent need for this assistance and I cannot support it at this time”.

However, Hillary Clinton speaking in New York on Friday, indicated that the world should do more in supporting the regions that have experienced the ‘Arab Spring’ uprisings.

This debate comes at a time when Egypt is in an economic crisis.  They are currently facing a $12 billion deficit in their budget.

Bomb threats lead to evacuations at University of Texas, North Dakota State University | Fox News.

The universities of Texas and North Dakota were evacuated earlier today, after a man claiming to be with Al-Qaeda said he had placed bombs all over the campuses.

No bombs have been found in either university. North Dakota State University has now allowed students to return.

The man claimed the bombs would go off in 90 minutes; the deadline passed with nothing happening.

Gunman held after shooting dead two people near Texas campus – Telegraph

Gunman held after shooting dead two people near Texas campus – Telegraph.

Yet another fatal shooting has happened in America, this time near A & M University campus in College Station, Texas.

A gunman barricaded himself in a house and opened fire, killing two. One of those killed is a police officer. In the shoot-out between the man and police many more were injured, before police shot the man.

With this latest major shooting incident in America, are we seeing these random events – caused by our liberal gun laws? Or is there a spiritual root to these events? Is there an agenda by the demonic to limit American freedom, and push gun control on the masses?

The Country of Texas

Subject: July 2013 – The Country of Texas

[If this were to become a reality, Texans would have to cope with an influx of former fellow Americans flooding into their country in the multi-millions. These, in turn, would insist that all south of the border illegals be deported immediately to make room for the newly arrived refugees from B. Hussein’s USSA dictatorship. Texas would become an economic GIANT and a terrific threat to the Hussein dictatorship Bto the north…………… ‘something to think about’ indeed.]

Please note that Texas is the only state with a legal right to secede from the Union. (Reference the Texas-American Annexation Treaty of 1848.)

We Texans love y’all, but we’ll probably have to take action if Barack Obama wins the election. We’ll miss you too.

Here is what can happen:

1: Barack Hussein Obama is President of the United States, and Texas secedes from the Union in summer of 2013.

2: George W. Bush will become the President of the Republic of Texas . You might not think that he talks too pretty, but we haven’t had another terrorist attack, and the economy was fine until the effects of the Democrats lowering the qualifications for home loans came to roost.

So what does Texas have to do to survive as a Republic?

1. NASA is just south of Houston, Texas. We will control the space industry.

2. We refine over 85% of the gasoline in the United States .

3. Defense Industry – we have over 65% of it. The term “Don’t mess with Texas,” will take on a whole new meaning.

4. Oil – we can supply all the oil that the Republic of Texas will need for the next 300 years. What will the other states do? Gee, we don’t know. Why not ask Obama?

5. Natural Gas – again we have all we need, and it’s too bad about those Northern States. John Kerry and Al Gore will have to figure out a way to keep them warm….

6. Computer Industry – we lead the nation in producing computer chips and communications equipment – small companies like Texas Instruments, Dell Computer, EDS, Raytheon, National Semiconductor, Motorola, Intel, AMD, Atmel, Applied Materials, Ball Microconductor, Dallas Semiconductor, Nortel, Alcatel, etc, etc. The list goes on and on.

7. Medical Care – We have the research centers for cancer research, the best burn centers and the top trauma units in the world, as well as other large health centers. The Houston Medical Center alone employs over 65,000 people.

8. We have enough colleges to keep us getting smarter: University of Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Texas Christian, Rice, SMU, University of Dallas, University of Houston, Baylor, UNT (University of North Texas), Texas Women’s University, etc. Ivy grows better in the South anyway.

9. We have an intelligent and energetic work force, and it isn’t restricted by a bunch of unions. Here in Texas, it’s a “Right to Work” State and therefore, it’s every man and women for themselves. We just go out and get the job done. And if we don’t like the way one company operates, we get a job somewhere else.

10. We have essential control of the paper, plastics, and insurance industries, etc.

11. In case of a foreign invasion, we have the Texas National Guard, the Texas Air National Guard, and several military bases. We don’t have an Army, but since everybody down here has at least six rifles and a pile of ammo, we can raise an Army in 24 hours if we need one. If the situation really gets bad, we can always call the Department of Public Safety and ask them to send over the Texas Rangers.

12. We are totally self-sufficient in beef, poultry, hogs, and several types of grain, fruit and vegetables, and let’s not forget seafood from the Gulf. Also, everybody down here knows how to cook them so that they taste good. Don’t need any food.

13. Three of the ten largest cities in the United States, and twenty-three of the 100 largest cities in the United States are located in Texas. And Texas also has more land than California, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Maryland, Rhode Island and Vermont combined.

14. Trade: Three of the ten largest ports in the United States are located in Texas.

15. We also manufacture cars down here, but we don’t need to. You see, nothing rusts, so our vehicles stay beautiful and run well for decades.

This just names a few of the items that will keep the Republic of Texas in good shape. There isn’t a thing out there that we need and don’t have.

Now to the rest of the United States under President Obama: Since you won’t have the refineries to get gas for your cars, only President Obama will be able to drive around in his big 5 mpg SUV. The rest of the United States will have to walk or ride bikes.

You won’t have any TV as the Space Center in Houston will cut off satellite communications. You won’t have any natural gas to heat your homes, but since Mr. Obama has predicted global warming, you will not need the gas as long as you survive the 2000 years it will take to get enough heat from Global Warming.

Signed,
The People of Texas

P.S. This is not a threatening letter – just a note to give you something to think about!

Louie Gohmert: Aurora Shootings Result Of ‘Ongoing Attacks On Judeo-Christian Beliefs’

According to Republican Louie Gohmert of Texas, the shootings that occurred in Aurora, Colorado are the result of “ongoing attacks on Judeo-Christian beliefs”.

The Heritage Foundation’s show, Istook Live interviewed Gohmert and asked him why he believes these acts take place.  Gohmert indicated that the Christian values in this country have weakened.  “Some of us happen to believe that when our founders talked about guarding our virtue and freedom, that that was important…People say … where was God in all of this?”

Gohmert goes on to say “It does make me wonder, with all those people in the theater, was there nobody that was carrying a gun that could have stopped this guy more quickly?”

US: Russia sending Syria attack helicopters – WTOP.com

WASHINGTON (AP) – The Obama administration said Tuesday that Russia is sending attack helicopters to Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime….

Pentagon in awkward position,  U.S. military has come under criticism in Congress for working through what is apparently the same Russian firm to purchase helicopters for the Afghan army.

Senator John Cornyn, R-Texas, had initially raised questions about the Russian contractor. He had written a letter Monday to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta expressing “grave concerns” about U.S. dealings with the firm that is “arming the Assad regime” in Syria.

Progress on the Canadian Keystone XL Pipeline Halted

Canada is the largest supplier of energy to America. As such it was hoped that a new pipeline would be built to export crude oil from Canada to Texas.

President Obama initially rejected plans for the proposed pipeline which caused great concern with the Canadian government, and they began looking at the possibility of exporting the oil to the Asian markets instead. However proposals are now being reconsidered in Washington DC. The pipeline would be the largest infrastructure project in North America and would create many jobs in Canada and the USA, much needed in the current economic climate.
