Twitter Facing Scrutiny for Allowing Taliban to Use their Platform

Many have called into question why big tech are failing to censor terror groups like the Taliban, whilst President Trump is still banned from Twitter, and right-leaning groups in the U.S. see their accounts censored.

Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Taliban, has tweeted regular updates of their march to Kabul, with his tweets being referenced by numerous major news outlets.

However, Trump was permanently suspended from Twitter in January.  Even CNN reporter Donie O’Sullivan, tweeted Tuesday, “The former President of the United States is banned from Twitter but the Taliban is not.”
