Refining hurricane forecasts by connecting the dots

By graphing points in Earth’s roiling atmosphere with the aid of the latest petascale-power technology, scientists collaborating on Department of Energy-funded research say they could improve major seasonal North Atlantic hurricane forecast reliability by more than 25 percent.
“We ask questions about the end-game of hurricanes: Where will they likely end up in 10 or 15 days?” says Nagiza Samatova, an associate professor in computer science and mathematics at North Carolina State University and a senior research scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
“We are finding local impacts using global data,” adds Alok Choudhary, Samatova’s collaborator and John G. Searle professor of computer science and electrical engineering at Northwestern University.
After a few years of sleuthing through existing climate records, their work is revealing previously unknown but predictive links between distant places that seem to recur during peak years for hurricane activity.

This will be good, we need better accuracy to be able to warn people before the storm hits.

Hurricanes ALL start off Africa where the religion is VooDoo,
They always go over the areas where VooDoo is practiced.

In fact that is the same water spirits the Dalai Lama evokes in his mandala rituals where they get the local inhabitants to take part of the sand home in inviting the “blessing” from these destructive gods into their bome town, and then pour the rest into the water to seal the deal

The Dalai Lamas own writings call them “wrathful destructive gods”.
Why? Because they have over a thousand year history of doing these rituals inviting these nasty demons in and destruction comes to the people. (hurricane sandy?)
This is why they were feared and why China kicked them out of Tibet.

In fact, Super Storm Sandy followed the exact path where the Dalai Lama just did rituals these last weeks, which also. Coincided with swing states and presidential debates…
Now tell me there is not a direct tie to all of this…
Buddhism is peace and the Dalai Lama the epitome of what a man of peace should be. Next you will say that your wife left you or you couldn’t get a job because of the Dalai Lama -grow up! This is just racist discriminatory thinking.
