China Restricts Export of Chipmaking Metals in Clash With US

China imposed restrictions on exporting two metals that are crucial to parts of the semiconductor, telecommunications and electric-vehicle industries in an escalation of the country’s tit-for-tat trade war on technology with the US and Europe.

Gallium and germanium, along with their chemical compounds, will be subject to export controls meant to protect Chinese national security starting Aug. 1, China’s Ministry of Commerce said in a statement Monday.

BRITAIN GOES TO WAR

Britain is to join the war against ISIS, after the UK Parliament overwhelmingly backed air strikes targeting the terrorists in Iraq.

Prime Minister David Cameron said there was a “strong case” for extending the air strikes into Syria. He warned that the war against the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) was likely to last for “years”.

During an emergency session of Parliament on Friday, Conservative, Liberal Democrat and Labour MPs largely united as they voted 524 to 43 in favour of joining military action in Iraq.

The FBI said earlier this week it had identified Jihadi John, the British terrorist who has been filmed apparently beheading Western hostages.

Last night, six RAF Tornados based in Cyprus were poised to strike targets in Iraq within hours. The military intervention marks the third war in Iraq involving British personnel in the past 25 years.

Britain is now on high alert for revenge attacks after a series of arrests over the past two days. Counter-terrorist police yesterday arrested two men on the M6 near Rugby.

The Prime Minister said: “‘Is there a threat to the British people? The answer is yes. ISIL has already murdered one British hostage and has threatened to murder two more.

“ISIL is a terrorist organisation unlike those we have dealt with before. The brutality is staggering — beheadings, crucifixions, gouging out of eyes, use of rape as a weapon. All those things belong to the Dark Ages. This is about psychopathic terrorists who are trying to kill us. Like it or not they have already declared war on us.” Mr Cameron said Isil posed a direct threat to Britain, citing six plots linked to the terrorist group which had been foiled across Europe.

ISRAEL/IRAN TENSIONS HEIGHTEN: WATCH SEPTEMBER 25TH

Over recent years tensions have steadily heightened between Israel and Iran, as Iran continues to pursue nuclear weapons.  It is thought that Israel were behind cyber attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities that slowed the Iranian nuclear program, but failed to disable it completely.

Now Iran have moved their operations deep underground in the mountains of Natanz. Israel are keen to strike Natanz, before the Iranian’s progress in their nuclear program reaches the point of no return.

There are now reports that Israel has told President Obama, if he does not decide on a course of action that will see an end to Iran’s nuclear program by September 25th, then Israel will go it alone.

New intelligence has emerged which seems to show that Iran are much further down the road to building a nuclear bomb than the West had previously thought.

Obama is not keen to be seen to be going to war immediately before an election. But Israel knows time is short, and a nuclear Iran is a prospect no one wants to consider. We have reported on the dangers facing Israel at this time, and why Iran are so singleminded in their desire to destroy Israel.

» Death-Obsessed Culture Blamed For ‘Batman’ Shooting: “There’s a war on for your mind!”

Hours after the Batman shooting in Aurora, Colorado, politicians started pushing for gun control.

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, “stand up and tell us what they’re going to do about” these shootings, in a demand to both Mitt Romney and Barack Obama.

Piers Morgan with CNN “America has got to do something about its gun laws. Now is the time,”

“Perhaps the more fundamental question that needs to be asked as to why America keeps experiencing mass shootings, when as recently as twenty years ago they were few and far between?”  Asks Paul Joseph Watson, editor and writer for prisonplanet.com

THE WAR BEING WAGED ON THE WEB – Telegraph

The war being waged on the web – Telegraph.

There is a debate within the highest corridors of power as to whether it is legitimate to launch pre-emptive cyber attacks against ones enemies.

It is believed that Russia and China are already engaged in this type of espionage against the West, and the US and Israel used the Stuxnet and Flame viruses against Iran. However, these attacks against Iran were never intended to make their way onto the internet.

The danger of going down the road of pre-emptive cyber warfare is illustrated in the case of Stuxnet. The Stuxnet virus was used to infect the offline Natanz Uranium Enrichment facility. However, the Stuxnet made it onto the internet, infecting about 50,000 systems globally, and has enabled criminals and other agencies access to this highly sophisticated virus.

Could we be coming to a time where the internet is a war zone?

Prophet TV has been teaching what happens when we deal with issues by the arm of the flesh. If more people became built up in their regions, then the Presence of God would have pre-eminence in the atmosphere.

NATO SUMMIT CHICAGO – OBAMA COMMITS U.S. FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO AFGHANISTAN UNTIL 2024

At this key time world leaders have met in Chicago for the NATO summit. One of the main topics under discussion is the situation in Afghanistan. Obama has been keen to push ahead with a plan to withdraw troops from the war torn country. Obama has set a date of 2014 to remove troops from Afghanistan. But critics of the move have pointed out the Taliban are still a major threat to security and the Afghan army are not strong enough to withhold them alone. Obama has announced that the US will continue to support the Afghan army until 2024.

In this election year it looks like President Obama is making decisions not based on military wisdom. No army tells there enemy when they plan to pack up and leave. No army goes to war without a clear and concise objective, and a determination to stay and fight until that objective has been won. Have we seen the Taliban defeated, does their presence in Afghanistan no one pose a significant threat to American security?

Iran’s Army Prepare for War

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard have been placed on a war footing. Iran is again facing international pressure over it’s nuclear program, and it is now increasingly apparent that Iran will not give up it’s nuclear ambitions.

The Iranian government believe it’s nuclear program is the victim of a concerted and sustained attack from the West, beginning last year with a cyber attack directly upon it’s nuclear facilities. Iran also believe the West is responsible for two recent explosions, both military targets.

“It looks like the 21st century form of war,” said Patrick Clawson of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, a Washington think tank, told the Los Angeles Times. “It does appear that there is a campaign of assassinations and cyber war, as well as the semi-acknowledged campaign of sabotage.”

Iran have been hitting back by raiding the British embassy in Tehran and shooting down a US spy drone. Iran have seized computers from the British embassy, and the US security services are concerned over the loss of the spy drone.

This escalation in the region has to be taken seriously. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has openly spoken of his belief that he is God’s chosen vessel to usher in the coming of the Mahdi, an Islamic Messianic figure.

The Mahdi, or 12th Imam is prophesied to come in the midst of an apocalyptic type war, resulting in the destruction of Israel. It is little wonder that the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is taking the threat very seriously. Prime Minister Netanyahu has said Israel would make “the right decision at the right moment”. For Israel, an Iran with a nuclear arsenal is not an option that they will tolerate.
