A dozen people were reported dead Wednesday in a California mass shooting inside a facility for the developmentally disabled, according to a local ABC affiliate. Authorities said as many as three shooters, heavily armed and possibly wearing body armor, were involved in the 11:20 a.m. assault in San Bernardino. It appeared the suspect or suspects remained on the loose. “We have several down in a conference room. Several down!” one officer shouted on a police dispatch recording.
