The Egyptian capital Cairo erupted in violence today, as both pro-and anti-Morsi protesters held huge rallies in the city.
The ousting of the elected President Mohammed Morsi has left the county divided and today’s violence has raised the speculation the country is heading towards civil war.
The military is being accused of killing over 100 pro-Morsi protesters. The clashes have also left around 1,500 people injured.
There has also been violence in Egypt’s second city Alexandria, leaving around 10 dead.
Morsi is currently under arrest, accused of plotting jail breaks during the overthrowing of President Mubarak, as well as conspiring with Palestinian militant group Hamas, which has strong links to the Muslim Brotherhood. It is believed Morsi is soon to be moved to the same prison Mubarak is currently being held.

France, socialist capitol of the world, where government officials promise complainers, the world.. is now completely broke. Police departments cannot (will not- because they are afraid and too many laws to protect criminals) deal with the crime from Bulgaria and other countries, since they dropped their borders.
Understand dropping your borders to allow people from dysfunctional countries to come and take jobs away from you and your children, does not make the people from dysfunctional countries somehow behave like you or your children. It only DESTROYS YOUR COUNTRY LIKE THEIRS.
AND THIS is just plain stupid and insanity… so who are these blind leaders listening to anyway?
BTW: didn’t NY actually have a blind leader? If that is not prophetic, then what is?
Well apparently the US government is listening to the same voices in their head’s…
NOTE: No country was ever conquered by an invading army faster than the Nazi’s captured France.
This is the capitol of women’s rights… right?
Lady Liberty came from France when she cut the head off the christian king right?
then insanity broke out right? And the head chopping right?
Then the terror, then great terror, because everyone was terrified they would be reported to the government and then their head would be chopped off right?
After these people killed the church leaders and they thought God, then these leaders thought that cutting peoples heads off was a way to control people right?
After all, it was too hard to hear, if you do wrong you won’t go to heaven…
So they killed the church leaders…
then to control people they cut their heads off because it was better to end their life then modify their behavior and upset them by saying God might not be happy with you.
and all the countries called France insane right?
and it took Napoleon, a ruthless dictator, to massacre tons of them in order to restore order right?
all because the taxes were too high right?
Well they were not 75% taxation, like the current king of France is pushing, to pay for all the hand outs to satisfy a lazy self righteous culture…
Do you realize no one in France cares about keeping any client happy…
why? Because they have gotten laws that the government (ROBIN HOOD) should be robbing you, if you prosper, to pay for the dysfunctional people…
who raises disfunction?
You mean besides rappers, college professors, news media’s going after ratings?
are you kidding?
So what’s the problem? Chaos, crime and the US government touts this as a better system and people with a better work ethic?
What is the problem with creating so many laws that allow people to sue each other constantly… is this life? does this modify behavior?
No one works in France…. yet they put in tons of hours..
doing what?
Watching the clock, but not producing…
insanity, amazing
and a look at our future…
Pay attention… we are in hell…
so how do you escape?
PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITY — A convicted felon from Washington state was in custody Monday for allegedly pointing a loaded firearm at people visiting the Santa Monica Pier.
Officials said that Tony Andre Andrade, 33, pleaded not guilty July 18 to attempted murder, assault with a firearm, evading police, carrying a loaded firearm and receiving stolen property. He was being held at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility on a bail of $1.23 million.
Santa Monica Police Lt. Jay Trisler said Andrade refused to stop for officers on July 16 just shortly after 1 a.m. after police received a report of a man matching his description pointing a gun at random people. He led police on a car chase along Pacific Coast Highway toward Malibu, eventually crashing near the Ventura County border. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Andrade was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Police received a report of a man pointing a handgun at people along the 200 block of the pier. One witness told officers that Andrade pointed the gun and pulled the trigger at least twice, but the gun did not fire. He then fled to a vehicle and left. Officers located the car near Lincoln and Pico boulevards and tried to stop Andrade. That’s when the pursuit began.
A spokesperson with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said Andrade has four prior felony convictions out of Adams and Spokane, Wash. for possession of a firearm, theft and possession of stolen property.
His next court date is scheduled for Aug. 1.
Newspapers simply won’t publish letters to the editor which they either
deem politically incorrect (read below) or which does not agree with the philosophy they’re pushing on the public. This woman wrote a great letter to the editor that should have been published;
From:
“David LaBonte”
My wife, Rosemary, wrote a wonderful letter to the editor of the OC Register which, of course, was not printed. So, I decided to “print” it myself, in response to a series of letters to the editor in the Orange County Register:
Dear Editor:
So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is made up of immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down the Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren’t being treated the same as those who passed through Ellis Island and other ports of entry.
Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today’s American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented. They also stood in line for a physical exam to determine if they were eligible to come into the country to work. Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home.
They had waved good bye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture. Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity.
Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out My father fought along side men whose parents had come straight over from Germany , Italy , France and Japan . None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan . They were defending the United States of America as one people
When we liberated France , no one in those villages were looking for the French-American or the German American or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country’s flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl.
And here we are with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country. I’m sorry, that’s not what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900’s deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life. I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags.
And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty , it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill. I wouldn’t start talking about dismantling the United States just yet.

Sensitive personal information was encrypted and cannot be accessed, however, we have not been able to rule out the possibility that some developers’ names, mailing addresses, and/or email addresses may have been accessed. In the spirit of transparency, we want to inform you of the issue. We took the site down immediately on Thursday and have been working around the clock since then.
In order to prevent a security threat like this from happening again, we’re completely overhauling our developer systems, updating our server software, and rebuilding our entire database. Would you trust thousands of low-level Federal bureaucrats and contractors with one-touch access to your private financial and medical information? Under Obamacare you won’t have any choice.
As the Obamacare train-wreck begins to gather steam, there is increasing concern in Congress over something called the Federal Data Services Hub. The Data Hub is a comprehensive database of personal information being established by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)… The purpose of the Data Hub, according to a June 2013 Government Accountability Office (GAO) report, is to provide “electronic, near real-time access to federal data” and “access to state and third party data…” In these days of secret domestic surveillance by the intelligence community, rogue IRS officials and state tax agencies using private information for political purposes, and police electronically logging every license plate that passes by, the idea of the centralized Data Hub is making lawmakers and citizens nervous.
They certainly should be; the potential for abuse is enormous. The massive, centralized database will include “ALL” your personal information… The Data Hub will provide web-based, one-stop shopping for prying into people’s personal affairs and any government official who wants to target you for political or religious believes, and for hackers and identity thieves to steal very quickly mass amounts of Americans data… in effect a WMD “Weapon of Mass Destruction”.
Not to fear, HHS says, the Data Hub will be completely secure. Really? Secure like all the information that has been made public in the Wikileaks era? These days no government agency can realistically claim that private information will be kept private, especially when it is being made so accessible. Putting everyone’s personal information in once place only simplifies the challenge for those looking to hack into the system.
However, the hacker threat is the least of the Data Hub worries. The hub will be used on a daily basis by so-called Navigators, which according to the GAO are “community and consumer-focused nonprofit groups, to which exchanges award grants to provide fair and impartial public education” and “refer consumers as appropriate for further assistance.” Thousands of such people will have unfettered access to the Data Hub, but there are only sketchy guidelines on how they will be hired, trained and monitored. Given the slap-dash, incoherent way Obamacare is being implemented the prospect for quality control is low. And the Obama administration’s track record of sweetheart deals, no-bid, sole-source contracting and other means of rewarding people with insider access means the Data Hub will be firmly in the hands of trusted White House loyalists.
So if you think the IRS targeting Tea Party groups was bad, just wait for the Obamacare Navigators to be unleashed. “Trust us,” the administration says, no one will abuse the Data Hub. Sure, because that has worked out so well in the past.

A possible witness in the Whitey Bulger case, Stephen “Stippo” Rakes, has been found dead at the side of a road. Rakes, 59, had no obvious signs of trauma on his body, and detectives are awaiting autopsy results to discover the cause of death.
Rakes accused Bulger, the notorious Boston mobster, of taking over his liquor store in order to provide a legitimate front from which to operate his criminal activities from. Rakes, also claimed that Bulger had threatened his family at gun point. However, earlier this week prosecutors had informed Mr Rakes that his testimony would not be needed, something that had apparently left him feeling “despondent”, he had been waiting many years to have his day in court.

Teenagers went on a crime spree in Los Angeles and 12 arrested, as Hollywood was hit by roaming bands of robbers on Wednesday night, causing mayhem when approximately 40 young people rampaged through the area. Eight robberies have been reported, and police are investigating how the groups formed, probably using social media to send out information to the swarming groups.
Investigators are also looking into whether the group was made up of some of the same youths who were attacking people and vandalizing stores in the Crenshaw district earlier this week, when demonstrators protested the George Zimmerman murder trial verdict.
The ACLU found that only five states have laws governing license plate readers. New Hampshire, for example, bans the technology except in narrow circumstances, while Maine and Arkansas limit how long plate information can be stored.
“There’s no expectation of privacy” for a vehicle driving on a public road or parked in a public place, said Lt. Bill Hedgpeth, a spokesman for the Mesquite Police Department in Texas, which has records stretching back to 2008, although the city plans next month to begin deleting files older than two years. “It’s just a vehicle. It’s just a license plate.”
In Yonkers, New York, police said retaining the information indefinitely helps detectives solve FUTURE CRIMES. In a statement, the department said it uses license plate readers as a “reactive investigative tool” that is only accessed if detectives are looking for a particular vehicle in connection to a crime.
“These plate readers are not intended nor used to follow the movements of members of the public,” the department’s statement said.
But even if law enforcement officials say they don’t want a public location tracking system, the records add up quickly. In Jersey City, New Jersey, for example, the population is only 250,000 but the city collected more than 2 million plate images on file. Because the city keeps records for five years, the ACLU estimates that it has some 10 million on file, making it possible for police to plot the movements of most residents depending upon the number and location of the scanners, according to the ACLU.
The ACLU study, based on 26,000 pages of responses from 293 police departments and state agencies across the country, also found that license plate scanners produced a small fraction of “hits,” or alerts to police that a suspicious vehicle has been found. .
