Jewish High Holy Days invite Tibetan Monks to create an inter-dimensional Gate to the Underworld at Pico Union Project- 21 days later sudden destruction ?

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 02, 2015

Tibetan Buddhist monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery will construct a inter-dimensional gate to the underworld Sept. 21 to Sept. 27 at the Pico Union Project, 1153 Valencia Street, in Downtown Los Angeles, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The public is invited to come and attend special ceremonies whereby people are encouraged to open their chakras to invite wrathful deities to enter their bodies and city.

It will take the “Tibetan Buddhist Monks only seven days to create this inter-dimensional gate to the underworld at the Pico Union in the middle of our 10 holiest Jewish days,” said Craig Taubman, founder of Pico Union Project. “On the 7th day of creation, they will dissolve their art, then distribute the sand and instruct the easily deceived simple minded who have gathered, to disperse the sand into a fresh body of water.” This is to evoke wrathful water spirits into LA to bring the same destructive forces into the world that was over NAZI Germany.

From all the occult traditions of Tantric (sex possession) Buddhism, this ritual ranks as one of the most damaging to families.

To date the monks have created mandala portals in more than 100 museums, art centers, and colleges and universities in the United States and Europe.

California is also in a drought and the USA has changed dramatically, all from locations where they have opened these inter-dimensional gates and evoked wrathful spirits into peoples hearts, minds, sexual chakra’s, and cities then released into the worlds water ways. Powerful Voo-Doo

The Sanctuary@Pico Union is launching in time for the Jewish High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah (Sept. 14), Kol Nidre (Sept. 22) and Yom Kippur (Sept. 23). Services will be led by Taubman together with musical and lack of spiritual understanding artists and educators including Shy Blakeney, Josh Goldberg, Martin Storrow, Deanna Neil, Rabbi Scott Westle, Ayana Morse, Stuart K. Robinson, Ron Wolfson and Shany Zamir.

The mandala underworld portal creation begins with an opening ceremony, during which the lamas consecrate the site and call forth wrathful deities, convincing the gatekeepers of the city to be in one accord and open their heart to invite these destructive forces into their cities believing these wrathful deities are forces of goodness. This is done by means of chanting, music and mantra recitation, and will be held on Monday, Sept. 21 at 9 a.m.

Ritualistically sand mandalas are destroyed shortly after their completion as the evil spirits that have been evoked into this temporary house or containment field must find moisture very rapidly. This is an important part of the ritual. The sands are swept up and placed in an urn; half is distributed to the audience at the closing ceremony, while the remainder is carried to a nearby body of water, where it is deposited.

These wrathful deities that came through the inter-dimensional gate to the underworld do not like to be in dry places so they seek to inhabit men or go into the oceans of the world increasing the darkness over the planet.

These rituals were performed extensively throughout Nazi Germany and the very Swastika that Hitler said had the dark influence that drove him, was indeed from Tibet. The closing ceremony will be held on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 5:30 p.m.

Doors for the exhibit at Pico Union Project will be open Sept. 21-22 and Sept. 24-27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to the opening and closing ceremonies, the Tibetan Buddhist monks are offering a lecture on Thursday, September 24, at 10:30 a.m. on meditation.

About Pico Union Project
The Pico Union Project is dedicated to the Jewish principle to “love your neighbor as yourself.” (Which actually came from a teaching of Jesus whom they deny) It elevates this teaching into practice by further denying the Law of Moses (thou shall have no other gods) and instead does what the Jewish have always done, make golden calfs and worship other gods including the god of their intellect, in this case wrathful deities from the underworld.

Typically 750 principalities come through these portals at one of these rituals, times 100 gates to hell done throughout San Francisco, Washington DC, Schools in the US and Europe that is an additional 75,000 destructive gods released into the worlds oceans. Oh yeah.. problems seem to be mounting everywhere don’t they.

It’s kinda like some child wanting to help put out a fire so the Tibetan Monk keeps giving the child gasoline telling the child to douse the fire with the gas. Then the fire gets worse, so the monk convinces the child to throw even more gas on the fire, and the ignorant cycle continues.

By agreeing with this, you will help bring more destruction into the world. DO NOT agree with or partake in spiritual darkness that you do not understand.

After they did these rituals up the east coast, hurricane Sandy brought 25 billion dollars of destruction into the USA. Same with Hurricane Katrina.

Global warming or inter-dimensional invasion?
Depends who you ask.
Politicians who can tax tax tax, money money money
Or Tibetan monks, VooDoo witch doctors or Jesus who had power over the spirits hiding in the sea and stopped the hurricane.

How about all the Jews that were killed by men under this “spiritual” influence?

And now the very Jews are repeating history as they always do… Amazing simply amazing

Christianity, Islam and Yoga

YOGA has been in the news a lot recently. As colleagues have written, the establishment of International Yoga Day, celebrated for the first time last Sunday was a significant milestone for India’s “soft power” and on balance, a personal success for Narendra Modi, the prime minister who led 37,000 people in a display of the spiritual exercise.

Yoga also generates headlines in countries far from India, both because of its widespread appeal and the mixed feelings (to put it mildly) that it engenders among followers of the world’s monotheistic faiths.

Malaysia and Iran stand out as Muslim countries where yoga is both quite popular and controversial. In 2008, when Malaysia’s supreme Islamic authority told Muslims to eschew the practice, this was widely greeted with dismay as a symptom of a hardening theological line in a country where many faiths have to rub along.

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the (devoutly Muslim) prime minister at the time, later specified that it was permissible to do the exercises as long as people held off from Hindu chanting.

In Western nations which are historically Christian but increasingly diverse in their approach to things spiritual, the very ambivalence of yoga (call it flexibility if you like) is one of its selling points. Depending on which school of yoga you follow and how far you go, it can be a way of limbering up the body and easing tensions, or it can involve the pursuit of extra-ordinary spiritual experiences, culminating in samadhi, variously described as union with, or absorption into, ultimate reality.

It is agreed that yoga has its roots in the Hindu tradition, and that it constitutes one of the main schools of Hinduism; but it can of course be practised as a physical and even mental discipline by people who are ignorant of, or even mildly resistant to the teachings of Hinduism.

That point is made defensively by many Western yoga teachers, and with dismay by purist advocates of the Hindu path.

Traditional Christian clerics still see dangers in the practice.

In the Northern Irish city of Derry-Londonderry, a Catholic priest caused a local furore in February by telling his parishioners that yoga, and even Indian head massage, could open people to demonic influences.

Around the same time, a Church of England priest in Bristol told a yoga teacher who had been instructing hundreds of people on church premises to find other quarters.

The teacher, Naomi Hayama, complained bitterly, on grounds that her kind of yoga, at least, was certainly not an alternative faith. “They are trying to say that is a spiritual practice but my classes are not. I respect people who are religious but I am not,” she said.

Even in North America’s culturally liberal West, yoga attracts controversy. albeit for different reasons. In Vancouver last weekend a plan by the provincial government to have a yoga event on a central city thoroughfare was cancelled at the last moment: some people thought it would distract attention from National Aboriginal Day, and others resented the fact that two of the event’s corporate sponsors were also big donors to the Liberal party which runs British Columbia.

Across the United States, there are plenty of advocates of “Christian yoga”; but an evangelist and physical education instructor, Laurette Willis, has also had some success with a a system of body postures called PraiseMoves which is explicitly linked to Christianity; she says she dabbled in Eastern religions for a long time before coming to the conclusion that yoga postures were prostrations before Hinduism’s multiple deities and therefore incompatible with belief in Jesus of Nazareth.

At a more senior level, some Christian leaders have held back from attacking yoga as such but urged followers not to treat it as an easy alternative to their own spiritual calling.

The former Pope Benedict, in his earlier days as Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, observed that “some physical exercises automatically produce a feeling of quiet and relaxation” and warned people not to “take such feelings for the authentic consolations of the Holy Spirit.”

Pope Francis, in a homily earlier this year, was more tactful, but still edgy: he included formal Catholic instruction or catechism, along with yoga, on his list of things which should not be seen as a proxy for the mysterious power of the Holy Spirit to stir human hearts.

You can take a million catechetical courses, a million courses in spirituality, a million courses in yoga, Zen and all these things. But all this power will never be able to give you the freedom of being children of God.

And if you are looking for more categorical denunciations of yoga from top Christians, you can certainly find them. Albert Mohler, an influential leader of America’s evangelical camp, has told Christians to stay away from stretches, and the Orthodox church of Greece issued a similarly clear-cut prohibition last week.

On the other hand if you are a Christian or Muslim who loves the lotus, you can find plenty of well-rehearsed arguments for the compatibility of the Indian practice with Abrahamic monotheism.

A Christian web-site, for example, argued that evicting yoga-lovers from the premises in Bristol would do more harm than good. “Doing yoga doesn’t make you a Hindu or a Buddhist any more than singing along to George Harrison does.”

In his attack on yoga, Mr Mohler described India as “almost manically syncretistic” in other words, prone to the mixing of religious ideas.

But the fact is that most Western societies, insofar as they think about religion at all, are pretty syncretistic too. That puts traditional Christian or Muslim leaders on the back foot when they try to argue against the asanas.

To be a certified Yoga teacher, which all Yoga teachers are, you have to be a trained in how to open you’re students up to be filled with many types of deities. Buddhists and Hindus call this enlightenment, Jesus calls this demon possession.

Buyer Beware !

Supreme Court Votes Obama Care Legal- single payer government controlled health care months away

Government is now now attempting to control what u eat to keep medical expenses down, creating a new black market: school children selling salt and snacks to students who refuse to eat Michele Obamas government mandated cafeteria menu.

Lois learner IRS erased 24 hundred back up tapes deleating thousands of court ordered emails outlining that when Lying Left Librals get into office they opress and destroy everyone who dosn’t agree with them.

So if the government can lie, cheat, kill, steal and destroy with no consequence what message does that send the governed?

Aparently lawlessness is just around the corner…

FRENCH PROTESTANT CHURCH APPROVES GAY MARRIAGE BLESSING

France’s main Protestant church on Sunday approved a measure giving its pastors the possibility of blessing the marriage of same-sex couples, two years after France’s government legalised gay marriage.

In France the legal marriage ceremony takes place at the Mayors office beforehand, but until now a church blessing has not been possible.

The United Protestant Church of France, adopted the reform during a national synod held in the Mediterranean city of Sète meant to coincide with the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia.

Ninety-four representatives of the protestant group voted in favour of the measure, with only three voting against it, a church spokesman told the press on Sunday.

“The synod has decided to go a step forward in supporting those couples by opening the possibility of holding liturgical celebrations when they are requested,” the Church leader Laurent Schlumberger said.

“It’s an option, not an obligation,” Schlumberger noted. “Every pastor and every parish is free to implement this change.”

France’s Socialist-led government legalised marriage and adoption by same-sex couples in May 2013, but the reform sparked massive protests which were led, in part, by some of the country’s most prominent Catholic institutions.

TALE OF TWO SPEECHES!

Denzel Washington’s Dillard University Declaration vs. Michelle Obama’s Tuskegee Attack.

Addressing graduates at two different universities Denzel Washington and Michelle Obama gave very difference messages.  The hugely successful black male celebrity had a word of advice for those who would otherwise be influenced by racially-obsessed firebrands.

According to this particular African-American superstar actor, the key to success isn’t forcing equality, killing cops, being a beneficiary of quotas, or political retribution – it is putting God first.  Denzel assumed an attitude of thankfulness and humility by telling graduates that if one “puts God first,” success will follow. Washington didn’t talk about bias, prejudice, racism or color. Instead, Denzel Washington chose to discuss how everything he’s accomplished is due solely to the “grace of God.”

While the first African-American first lady was busy recounting for Tuskegee grads every personal affront, African-American megastar Denzel – after receiving an honorary doctorate of Humane Letters at the ceremony – told the group to “Put God first in everything you do.”

Michelle Obama’s Tuskegee comments exuded an attitude of racial entitlement mixed with tangible resentment. By contrast, Denzel told the following story:

“When I was young and started really making it as an actor, I came and talked to my mother and said, ‘Mom, did you think this was going to happen? I’d be so big and I’ll be able to take care of everybody and I can do this and I can do that.’ “

Mama Washington reprimanded her son:

“Oh, you did it all by yourself? I’ll tell you what you can do by yourself: Go outside and get a mop and bucket and clean these windows – you can do that by yourself, superstar.

She said, ‘Boy, stop it right there, stop it right there, stop it right there! She said, ‘If you only knew how many people been praying for you.’ How many prayer groups she put together, how many prayer talks she gave, how many times she splashed me with holy water to save my sorry behind.”

Instead of blaming perceived wrongs for what he didn’t have or what wasn’t bestowed on him because of his skin color, Washington acknowledged those in the audience like his mother who sacrificed much so that the graduates could accomplish their academic goals:

“So, I’m saying that because I want to congratulate all the parents and friends and family and aunties and uncles and grandmother and grandfathers, all the people that helped you get to where you are today.”

Unlike Mrs. Obama’s Tuskegee tirade, the Denzel-delivered Dillard commencement speech had none of the bitterness, animosity, or warnings about the impending hardships of being black in America that were so prominent in Michelle Obama’s remarks.

Instead, Denzel Washington told the graduates:

“Everything you think you see in me, everything I’ve accomplished, and everything you think I have – and I have a few things. Everything that I have is by the grace of God. Understand that. It’s a gift.”

And so, if some disgruntled black Americans are looking for an alternative example of how success is attained, maybe instead of firebombing minority-owned businesses, shooting young police officers in the head, or buying into Michelle Obama’s Tuskegee vitriol, how about listening to Denzel’s sound advice and “put God first?”

CONSERVATIVES SURPRISE WIN IN UK ELECTIONS

In the UK elections, the Conservatives led by David Cameron, were elected by a landslide victory with a clear majority in the House of Commons.

The result was unseen by exit polls and journalists alike, who had predicted a close race between Labour and the ruling Conservatives. All media talk prior to election day was about coalition government, though neither main party would be drawn on who they would work closely with, in the event of a hung parliament.

Casualties of the day turned out to be the Labour Party especially in Scotland, the Liberal Democrats and UKIP (the UK Independence Party), who all suffered major loses.  The Scottish National Party (SNP), who recently lost but did well in the Scottish referendum last September, gained all the Scottish seats except 3, to form the 3rd largest party in the UK parliament.

Leaders Ed Miliband (Labour) and Nick Clegg (Liberal Democrats) immediately resigned as a result of the election night results and new leaders will be elected shortly.  Meanwhile, David Cameron (Conservative) continues to run the country, unopposed, for a further five years.

U.S Healthcare quality goes from best in the world to worst and most expensive in the world in 6 years

Forbes magazine says:
Earlier this year, Cadillac ran a controversial TV ad that first aired during the opening ceremonies of the 2014 Winter Olympics. It was called “Poolside” and featured actor Neal McDonough extolling America’s work ethic over other countries — specifically France.

Turns out that many of those “other countries” (including France) score better than the U.S. in one key metric not included in Cadillac’s TV spot — healthcare. At least that’s according to The Commonwealth Fund in their latest report “Mirror, Mirror On The Wall — 2014 Update” (pdf here).

For this year’s survey on overall health care, The Commonwealth Fund ranked the U.S. dead last .

1. United Kingdom
2. Switzerland
3. Sweden
4. Australia
5. Germany & Netherlands (tied)
7. New Zealand & Norway (tied)
9. France
10. Canada
11. United States

It’s fairly well accepted that the U.S. is the most expensive healthcare system in the world, but many continue to falsely assume that we pay more for healthcare because we get better health (or better health outcomes). The evidence, however, clearly doesn’t support that view.

SEE HERE:

The report itself is fairly short (32 pages), but included prior surveys and national health system scorecards as well as data from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The report also included a list of major findings — including these:

Quality: The indicators of quality were grouped into four categories: effective care, safe care, coordinated care, and patient-centered care. Compared with the other 10 countries, the U.S. fares best on provision and receipt of preventive and patient-centered care.

Access: Not surprisingly — given the absence of universal coverage — people in the U.S. go without needed health care because of cost more often than people do in the other countries.

Efficiency: On indicators of efficiency, the U.S. ranks last among the 11 countries, with the U.K. and Sweden ranking first and second, respectively. The U.S. has poor performance on measures of national health expenditures and administrative costs as well as on measures of administrative hassles, avoidable emergency room use, and duplicative medical testing.

Equity: The U.S. ranks a clear last on measures of equity. Americans with below-average incomes were much more likely than their counterparts in other countries to report not visiting a physician when sick; not getting a recommended test, treatment, or follow-up care; or not filling a prescription or skipping doses when needed because of costs. On each of these indicators, one-third or more lower-income adults in the U.S. said they went without needed care because of costs in the past year.

Healthy lives: The U.S. ranks last overall with poor scores on all three indicators of healthy lives — mortality amenable to medical care, infant mortality, and healthy life expectancy at age 60. Overall, France, Sweden, and Switzerland rank highest on healthy lives.

Perhaps the biggest single takeaway was this one:

The most notable way the U.S. differs from other industrialized countries is the absence of universal health insurance coverage. Other nations ensure the accessibility of care through universal health systems and through better ties between patients and the physician practices that serve as their medical homes. The Commonwealth Fund “Mirror, Mirror On The Wall — 2014 Update”

Unfortunately, many still equate “universal healthcare” with “Government run” or “single payer” healthcare. It isn’t (Universal Coverage Is Not “Single Payer” Healthcare — here).

All of which makes Cadillac’s advertising chutzpah even more brazen. After all, it was just seven short months ago that the Government “bailout” of GM officially ended. One of the more commonly cited reasons for the dire financial predicament of the auto industry giant was always — yup — ballooning healthcare costs. Just as Starbucks SBUX -1.6% spends more on healthcare benefits than coffee beans — GM (at least in 2005) spent more on healthcare benefits than steel.

The U.S. excels in many areas, but clearly population health (and all its related components) isn’t one of them. N’est-ce pas?

Obamacare tax surprise looming

Obamacare enrollees who received subsidies to help pay for coverage will soon have to reconcile how much they actually earned in 2014 with how much they estimated when they applied many, many months ago.

This will likely lead to some very unhappy Americans. Those who underestimated their income either will receive smaller tax refunds or will owe the IRS money.

That’s because subsidies are actually tax credits and are based on annual income, but folks got their 2014 subsidy before knowing exactly what they’d make in 2014. So you’ll have to reconcile the two with the IRS during the upcoming tax filing season.

It won’t be surprising if many enrollees guessed wrong. The sign up period began in October 2013 and many people did not know what they’d earn in 2014. Some went off what they earned in 2012.
Also, it was up to consumers to report major changes in their circumstances, such as landing a new job or getting married, so their subsidy amounts could be recalculated.

Related: Obamacare premiums: Going up unless you shop
We’re not talking chump change. Those who applied through the federal exchange received an average monthly subsidy of $264, according to the most recent figures reported by the Obama administration. They only had to pay $82 a month, on average, for coverage, Roughly 85% of total enrollees received help with insurance premiums. The administration last month said 2014 enrollment was 6.7 million.

Those who underestimated their earnings could owe thousands of dollars, though there is a $2,500 cap for those who remain eligible for subsidies. The threshold for eligibility is based on income – $45,900 for an individual and $94,200 for a family in 2014.

Of course, those who overestimated their 2014 income may get a healthier-than-expected refund. And some will see no change.

Here’s what happens next:
Obamacare enrollees should receive Form 1095-A from their exchange by Jan 31. It lists who in the household had policies and how much they received in monthly subsidies.
Taxpayers will then use that documentation to fill out Form 8962, which asks details on insurance, subsidies and income. If they were not covered for the entire year, they have to break down the subsidy payments by month.

Here Are The New Taxes You’re Going To Pay To Pay For Obamacare…

Well, Obamacare is now official, which means that a lot more people in the United States will have health insurance.

And it also means a lot more people will be paying more taxes.

(You didn’t think Obamacare was free, did you?)

Here are some of the new taxes you’re going to have to pay to pay for Obamacare:

A 3.8% surtax on “investment income” when your adjusted gross income is more than $200,000 ($250,000 for joint-filers). What is “investment income?” Dividends, interest, rent, capital gains, annuities, house sales, partnerships, etc. Taxes on dividends will rise from 15% to 18.8%–if Congress extends the Bush tax cuts. If Congress does not extend the Bush tax cuts, taxes on dividends will rise from 15% to a shocking 43.8%. (WSJ)
A 0.9% surtax on Medicare taxes for those making $200,000 or more ($250,000 joint). You already pay Medicare tax of 1.45%, and your employer pays another 1.45% for you (unless you’re self-employed, in which case you pay the whole 2.9% yourself). Next year, your Medicare bill will be 2.35%. (WSJ)
Flexible Spending Account contributions will be capped at $2,500. Currently, there is no tax-related limit on how much you can set aside pre-tax to pay for medical expenses. Next year, there will be. If you have been socking away, say, $10,000 in your FSA to pay medical bills, you’ll have to cut that to $2,500. (ATR.org)
The itemized-deduction hurdle for medical expenses is going up to 10% of adjusted gross income. Right now, any medical expenses over 7.5% of AGI are deductible. Next year, that hurdle will be 10%. (ATR.org)
The penalty on non-medical withdrawals from Healthcare Savings Accounts is now 20% instead of 10%. That’s twice the penalty that applies to annuities, IRAs, and other tax-free vehicles. (ATR.org)
A tax of 10% on indoor tanning services. This has been in place for two years, since the summer of 2010. (ATR.org)
A 40% tax on “Cadillac Health Care Plans” starting in 2018.Those whose employers pay for all or most of comprehensive healthcare plans (costing $10,200 for an individual or $27,500 for families) will have to pay a 40% tax on the amount their employer pays. The 2018 start date is said to have been a gift to unions, which often have comprehensive plans. (ATR.org)
A”Medicine Cabinet Tax” that eliminates the ability to pay for over-the-counter medicines from a pre-tax Flexible Spending Account. This started in January 2011. (ATR.org)
A “penalty” tax for those who don’t buy health insurance. This will phase in from 2014-2016. It will range from $695 per person to about $4,700 per person, depending on your income. (More details here.)
A tax on medical devices costing more than $100. Starting in 2013, medical device manufacturers will have to pay a 2.3% excise tax on medical equipment. This is expected to raise the cost of medical procedures. (Breitbart.com)
So those are some of the new taxes you’ll be paying that will help pay for Obamacare.

Any big ones I’ve missed?

Note that these taxes are both “progressive” (aimed at rich people) and “regressive” (aimed at the middle class and poor people). The big ones–the 3.8% investment income hike and the Medicare tax increase–only hit you if you’re making more than $200,000 a year. The rest hit you no matter how much you’re making.

Here’s How Much The Obamacare Penalty Tax Will Cost You…

Many Americans are furious that Obamacare will require them to buy health insurance.

Most of these folks seem to hate the idea that Obama is forcing them to do something more than they hate the idea of shelling out money.

But for those who also care about the money, here are the details.

The good news is that, for most people, the “penalty tax” for those who choose not to buy health insurance will cost a lot less than health insurance.

As with everything tax-related, there’s no simple answer to “How much is the Obamacare penalty tax?” But here are some key points, from FactCheck.org:

The penalty/tax will be phased in from 2014 to 2016.
The minimum penalty/tax in 2016 will be $695 per person and up to 3-times that per family. After 2016, these amounts will increase at the rate of inflation.
The minimum penalty/tax per person will start at $95 in 2014 (and then increase through 2016)
No family will ever pay more than 3X the per-person penalty, regardless of how many people are in the family.
The $695 per-person penalty is only for those who make between $9,500 and ~$37,000 per year. If you make less than ~$9.500, you’re exempt. If you make more than ~$37,000, your penalty is calculated by the following formula…
The penalty is 2.5% of any household income above the level at which you are required to file a tax return. That level is currently $9,500 per person and $19,000 per couple. The penalty on any income above that is 2.5%. So the penalty can get expensive quickly if you make a lot of money.
However, the penalty can never be more than the cost of a “Bronze” heath insurance plan purchased through one of the state “exchanges” that will be created as part of Obamacare. The CBO estimates that these policies will cost $4,500-$5,000 per person and $12,000-$12,500 per family in 2016, with the costs rising thereafter.
So, basically, you’re looking at penalties of approximately the following at the following income levels:

Less than $9,500 income = $0
$9,500 – $37,000 income = $695
$50,000 income = $1,000
$75,000 income = $1,600
$100,000 income = $2,250
$125,000 income = $2,900
$150,000 income = $3,500
$175,000 income = $4,100
$200,000 income = $4,700
Over $200,000 = The cost of a “bronze” health-insurance plan
The IRS will collect the penalty-tax, a fact that will no doubt further enrage those who hate Obamacare.

But here’s some more good news for those folks:

The IRS will not have the power to charge you criminally or seize your assets if you refuse to pay. The IRS will only have the ability to sue you. And the most the IRS can collect from you if it wins the suit is 2X the amount you owe. So if you want to thumb your nose at the penalty-tax, the IRS won’t be able to do as much to you as they could if you refused to pay, say, income tax.

By the way, the following folks will be exempt from the penalty-tax:

Those who make less than $9,500
Employees whose employers only offer plans that cost more than 8% of the employee’s income
Those with “hardships”
Members of Indian tribes
Members of certain religions that don’t pay Social Security tax, such as Amish, Hutterites, or Mennonites
And, of course, Obamacare isn’t free. So, whether you pay the penalty or not, you’re going to have to pay a lot of other taxes to pay for it.

FIRST SHARIAH LAW – ISLAMIC TRIBUNAL – IN THE USA

Breitbart confirms an Islamic Tribunal operating Shariah Law has begun in Irving, Texas.  CBN News reported  “The new Shariah tribunal in Irving, Texas, is trying to assure Americans they’re not planning to follow the type of Shariah law practiced in Muslim countries. But critics aren’t convinced”.

Breitbart have also confirmed that the four “lawyers” appointed are not members of the judiciary and are therefore practising law without a license in Texas.   Though Shariah Law decisions are said to be “voluntary”, one of the four Texas “judges” Dr. El-badawi, restated several times that participation in the tribunal is voluntary, however, he would not discuss what happens to someone who did not follow their rulings.

Great Britain has already seen the effects of Shariah law in the UK, and the rulings of the tribunals have been detrimental to women especially in divorce and child custody cases, as women have very few rights over Muslim men.  The UK Telegraph reported in August 2011 that “there are growing concerns” that the Sharia courts “are creating a parallel legal system — and one that is developing completely unchecked.” The UK Independent newspaper stated in April 2012 “some Sharia law bodies have been misrepresented by the media as being transparent, voluntary and operating in accordance with human rights and equality legislation. This is not the case. Many Sharia law bodies rule on a range of disputes from domestic violence to child residence all of which should be dealt with by UK courts of law.” Instead, “they operate within a misogynist and patriarchal framework which is incompatible with UK legislation.”

Now this has started in the USA.  The Texas Islamic tribunal website states: “As mentioned earlier, Muslims are bound in iman and Islam to have masajid, mahkamas, al-Mahkama al-Shar’iyya or courts to solve the problems.  Throughout Islamic history there has not been a time that qadis, or judges, and courts did not exist and they cannot go without existing today. Iman and the religion of Islam is based on the creed of Amantu billahi and believes that all deeds of men are recorded and will be brought forward and weighted upon the scales of justice and judged by Allah the Exalted, the Most Just. ”

The tribunal website continues: “The actions of men will be judged based on iman and Islam but not in violation of the laws that govern the land.  It is a must for a healthy society best to respond the people’s needs in a faith based approach and answer problems within that framework…the Islamic Tribunal intends to respond to that need.  Islamic Tribunals decisions have to be fair, just and conforming to legal proceedings at the local, state and federal level and recognized as such by the courts.  This may be incrementally developed by educating ourselves and also the legal professionals in the country, so understandably it may naturally take time to find its way to be commonly accepted…”

The US Center for Security Policy issued a report in 2011 which found that cases in the US courts have already adopted Shariah law principles in some cases, to the detriment of many women and children.  It states “These families came to America for freedom from the discriminatory and cruel laws of Shariah. When our courts then apply Shariah law in the lives of these families, and deny them equal protection, they are betraying the principles on which America was founded.”

MONEY IN YOUR HANDS!?

Man embeds computer chips in hands to store virtual currency inside his body.

A Dutch entrepreneur has had two wireless computer chips implanted under the skin in his hands to allow him to store digital currencies like Bitcoin inside his body.

Bitcoin is explained by Wikipedia as an online payment scheme invented in 2008 and users can transact directly without needing an intermediary like a traditional bank. The system works without a central repository or single administrator, which has led the US Treasury to categorize it as a decentralized virtual currency.

With roughly 12 million existing bitcoins in November 2013, the new price increased the market cap for bitcoin to at least US$7.2 billion. By 23 November 2013, the total market capitalization of bitcoin exceeded US$10 billion for the first time. One bitcoin is today currently worth about $227 USD.

Martijn Wismeijer is the founder of Mr Bitcoin, a company which installs and operates crypto-currency cash machines in and around his native Amsterdam and across Europe.

This month, Wismeijer chose to undergo a painful procedure to embed NFC (near-field communication) chips under his skin. These chips can be read by a range of devices including smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Apple iPhone 6, and can be adapted for a range of uses. He uses the chip to store the private keys for his Bitcoin wallets, which store the information necessary to transact bitcoins on or offline.

The glass chips he had implanted were xNTi devices which come pre-installed in syringes to plunge them into the fatty flesh under the skin. The 2mm by 12mm chips only store 888 bytes, but can transfer that over short distances when in the presence of an NFC reader.

New models with more memory are currently being designed, but these will be larger and more painful to install as they will have to be unfolded under the skin as opposed to just being injected.

“Most doctors will not want to install the implant so a body manipulation artist (preferably not just tattoo artist or piercer) will be your next best bet, but make sure they work according to strict hygiene codes and know what they are doing,” said Wismeijer.

“The reason I did take the implants is that I have real-world uses for it today, my phones and tablets are all compatible. I personally feel that by supporting these bio-hacking developments we can learn what works and what doesn’t and that some day, in the not so distant future we will be able to implant more functionality like sub dermal glucose sensors or heart rate monitors and other vital health monitoring devices. Imagine a normally invisible tattoo on your arm glowing red when you get a heart attack, swipe your phone and your phone will notify doctor.

“By supporting these bio-hacking initiatives I believe we are paving the way for social acceptance while at the same time we support the bio-hacking technology that drives it.”

MASSACRE IN PARIS -12 SHOT DEAD – WHY?

Twelve people were executed and eleven injured today after gunmen targeted staff by name at the offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine, in the heart of Paris, France.  The editor, journalists, and four well known cartoonists and two police offices were murdered by gunman using assault rifles shouting “Allahu Akbar,” an Islamic phrase meaning “God is greater”.  The three gunmen are still at large – they escaped by car which has since been found abandoned, though someone has been arrested in Reims, north-east of Paris.

Other cities in France – Nantes, Tours and Dijon – have seen attacks on a smaller scale by lone individuals in the past 4 weeks and France has been on a state of alert over the Christmas period as a result.

The French Republic has been confrontational in dealing with violent Islamist groups in their territories worldwide, and tolerates no religious extremism from any group, recently banning the wearing of the burqa veil in public for Muslim women.

Human values and freedom of the press are at the heart of the issue for many, as hundreds gather in Paris and London, mourning and protesting at the horror of the attack. The controversial magazine has often mocked politicians and religions. The Charlie Hebdo offices were firebombed in 2011 and its website was hacked, after the cover featured the prophet Muhammad. In 2012 the magazine again published crude Muhammad caricatures, drawing condemnation from around the Muslim world.

The cover of this week’s issue of the newspaper focuses on a new book by Michel Houellebecq, “Submission,” published today, which depicts France led by an Islamic party by 2022 that bans women from the workplace.

Paris, and many cities in France and the UK are on high alert, as concern that shopping centres, media and newspaper offices, and religious organisations may be soft targets for extremists.

How do we stop this happening in our cities?
