Obama Picks Staci Michelle Yandle, Black Lesbian Judge, For Federal Judgeship

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama prides himself on the diversity of his judicial picks. But on Thursday, he charted new territory by nominating Staci Michelle Yandle, who, if confirmed, would become the second-ever out black lesbian federal judge.Obama picked Yandle, who has been in private practice for 20 years and runs an Illinois firm, for a slot on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. She would fill a seat being vacated by Judge John Phil Gilbert, who is taking senior status on March 15.“I am pleased to nominate these distinguished individuals to serve on the United States District Court bench,” Obama said of Yandle and a handful of other nominees he put forward Thursday. “I am confident they will serve the American people with integrity and a steadfast commitment to justice.”Yandle’s nomination puts her on track to become the second openly lesbian African-American federal judge in the country. Judge Deborah Batts, nominated by President Bill Clinton, was sworn in as a federal judge in Manhattan in June 1994. Batts took senior status in April 2012.Yandle said in a July 2012 interview that the judicial world needs to be more accepting of the LGBT community.”When I first started practicing, for a while I did not feel comfortable acknowledging my sexual orientation because I didn’t want it to cost me my job,” she said. “I wanted to be judged on my merit and my merit alone. We are a traditional profession that is conservative in many ways.”HuffPost reached out to both of Yandle’s home state senators for comment on her nomination. A spokesman for Sen. Dickinson College to open a ‘Gate of Hell’ to evoke 750 evil entities from the underworld- What a Blessing !! 21 days later watch the destruction- dumb babies…

Buddhist monks formerly of Tibet from Drepung Monastery’s Gomang College will visit Dickinson College for a five-day residency beginning Tuesday.

The residency serves as part of the monks’ Sacred Arts tour of the United States, which gives spectators the chance to experience various Tibetan cultural traditions.

During their time on campus, the monks will construct a mandala (a spiritual symbol representing the universe) out of colored sand; perform a puja, a spiritual showcase of prayer and ritual; and perform a cultural program with traditional Tibetan dances and chants. Additionally, the monks will have the opportunity to interact with Dickinson students and staff in classrooms and in the dining hall.

“The monks are traveling the country for one year sharing their culture and offering prayers,” said Clarke Forum Program Manager Jolie Rankin. “It should be a really interesting experience.”

Dalai Lama cancels all US visits next month due to health reasons

The Dalai Lama canceled all of his U.S. visits for October because of medical reasons, The Office of Tibet said Friday.
“His Holiness arrived in the United States earlier this week for a medical evaluation. Upon completion of the evaluation, the doctors have advised that His Holiness take complete rest,” the office said in a release.

The Dalai Lama, 80, was scheduled to make appearances in Boulder, Colo., Salt Lake City and Philadelphia next month.

I’ve always said, “Never elect a person to president who is not already wealthy, otherwise they will use their office to set themselves up to be multi-million aires after they are out of office, by doing favors and making deals while in office.”

Case in point: How many millions did the Clintons make while Hilary was Secretary of State doing the “Pardons” and “Sweet” deals that she tried to hide by illegally using a private mail server and not turning over all communications to the Feds, then “Shredding” the evidence?


The reality: business owners that provide jobs will vote for Trump.
The real question is: will non business people who only work for hourly wage actually understand what brings prosperity? Or will they vote the government to “Bleed” the rich, causing them to close down and you’re jobs to be lost?

REPORT: LOIS LERNER EMAILS SHOW OBAMA’S JUSTICE DEPARTMENT ASSISTED IRS TO TARGET CONSERVATIVE GROUPS

After a year and a half of investigating, Congress has finally gotten to see a large number of the “missing” emails form IRS administrator Lois Lerner. Some of these emails seem to show that Obama’s Department of Justice (DOJ) was involved in the IRS targeting of conservative groups, a Forbes report says.

Despite the government’s refusal to release over 800 pages of Lerner communications, some documents that have been released show that she was discussing the targeting of conservative groups with members of the DOJ two years before the IRS even admitted that its actions were improper.

“Ms. Lerner,” Forbes columnist Robert W. Wood wrote, “met with top officials from the DOJ’s Election Crimes Branch in October of 2010. Although Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the DOJ, the DOJ coughed up dirt only on court order. Even then, the DOJ handed over only two pages of heavily redacted emails.”

The documents show that Lerner worked with the DOJ on targeting conservative groups and even show that Lerner sent the DOJ a “1.1 million page database of information from 501(c)(4) tax exempt organizations” that contained confidential tax records.

On November 22 it was announced that some 30,000 IRS emails that had previously been deemed “unrecoverable” had been “found” by the IRS Inspector General. The emails extend from 2009 to 2011, when Lerner headed the IRS’s exempt-organizations division.

While investigators have yet to comb through this mountain of information, other key documents were finally revealed in a Freedom of Information Act request submitted by government watchdog group Judicial Watch.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said that the documents show that Obama’s DOJ was “up to its neck in the IRS scandal” and remarked in outrage that the DOJ’s Public Integrity Section, which is supposed to be investigating such abuse of authority, is “now implicated in the IRS crimes.”

“It is shameful how Establishment Washington has let slide by Obama’s abuse of the IRS and the Justice Department,” Fitton said. “Only as a result of Judicial Watch’s independent investigations did the American people learn about the IRS-DOJ prosecution discussions of Obama’s political enemies and how the IRS sent, in violation of law, confidential taxpayer information to the FBI and DOJ in 2010. Richard Nixon was impeached for less.”

YOKO ONO: “I HAD AN AFFAIR WITH HILLARY CLINTON IN THE ’70S”

Los Angeles | Yoko Ono shocked reporters yesterday when she responded to a question concerning the presidential run of Hillary Clinton and the possibility that she could become the first woman President of the United States in American history.

The artist and widow of John Lennon, who is in Los Angeles to present a collection of cups and saucers she is exhibiting at the Museum of Modern Art, totally took reporters by surprise by admitting she had not only met the former First Lady at various times during a series of protests against the Vietnam War in New York in the 1970s but also knew her “intimately”.

The celebrity admitted laughingly to having “a fling” with her at the time and acknowledged her election “would be a great advancement for LGBT and Women rights in America” she added.

Yoko Ono when asked about her thoughts about Hillary’s run for the presidency completely took reporters by surprise.

“We met many times during the New York Vietnam War protests in the 1970s, and became very intimate. We shared many of the same values about sexual equality, fighting against the authoritarian, patriarchal, male-dominated society we were raised in” she explained.

“We had a brief romantic fling when I lived with John in Manhattan and Hillary was studying at Yale, but eventually we lost touch. I am amazed how things are going well for her and wish her the best for her campaign” she told reporters during the press conference.

Experts believe the statement could affect the presidential candidates bid for the presidency but previous allegations of Hillary Clinton’s lesbian past have not seemed to play against the front runner for the 2016 Democratic presidential race yet.

FAIRMONT HOTEL NOT PLAYING FAIR – SAYS ONLY BIG MONEY DESERVES TO MAKE BIG MONEY

Owners of the Fairmont hotel in Santa Monica are not satisfied with the millions of dollars they make per month but want to increase that 10 fold.

1st major obstacle to building a huge sky scraper blocking other hotels views is to put get their man elected to the Santa Monica City Council so they can re-write long standing bans on building heights in Santa Monica.

That being done, the second step is to stop local home owners from renting out their homes, so as to force everyone to rent from the hotel only.

Second step is now finished and the law is set to take place blocking home owners from renting, will start June 15th.

Democrats like Hillary, tell the locals “we are protecting the middle class home owner”, a total lie as they only take pay offs from the big investors seeking to hurt the middle class…
