ASSAD WARNS US “EVERYTHING POSSIBLE” IF SYRIA IS ATTACKED

In an interview on US television President Assad of Syria warned the US that “everything” would be possible if the US were to strike the country. Assad also repeatedly denied claims that he had used his chemical weapons stoke pile against his own people.

“You’re going to pay the price if you’re not wise. There are going to be repercussions,” Assad told CBS television in an interview recorded in Damascus and broadcast on Monday. “It’s an area where everything is on the brink of explosion. You have to expect everything.”

Also today Russia has urged Syria to hand it’s chemical weapons over to the international community. Russia’s plan was welcomed by the US and European leaders. Since the chemical weapons attack Russia has stood by the Syrian regime, claiming that rebels carried out the attack. However, most in the international community believe the weight of evidence points to the Assad government was to blame for the attack.

Publication of UN climate change report suggesting global warming caused by humans pushed back to later this month

A chilly Arctic summer has left nearly a million more square miles of ocean covered with ice than at the same time last year – an increase of 60 per cent.
The rebound from 2012’s record low comes six years after the BBC reported that global warming would leave the Arctic ice-free in summer by 2013.
Instead, days before the annual autumn re-freeze is due to begin, an unbroken ice sheet more than half the size of Europe already stretches from the Canadian islands to Russia’s northern shores.

This unusual piece of work, covering decades of time, is a poetic reverie about a pre-WWII aeronautical engineer who becomes inspired by visits to a fantasy world in the clouds.

Gravity: Nothing from Mexico master Alfonso Cuaron fails to ignite the fires of my imagination. That applies even with his part of the Harry Potter franchise. This time around, working from a script he co-authored with his son, Cuaron tells an American story set in space with Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as astronauts who will soon face a crisis.

Blue is the Warmest Color: Nothing about Tunis-born director Abdellatif Kechiche’s lesbian love story is routine, so this French production won the Palme d’Or as best film at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. It is said to be frankly told, sexually explicit and extraordinarily personal and insightful. Can’t wait!

TIFF 2013 – It took nearly four decades, but TIFF has truly become The Festival of Festivals

The next time you hear about the imminent death of film, think on the Toronto International Film Festival, which used to be known by the brash title The Festival of Festivals, and has grown over its 37-year history to become just that.

The event, which kicked off Sept. 5 and runs until Sept. 15, is a deal-making Mecca and a cultural force to rival the Academy Awards. In fact, the ovations that will greet many of this year’s 288 features also function as a kind of starter’s pistol for the race to the Oscars. They may be six months away, but the clock has started ticking.

The opening day features only a handful of films — screenings don’t start until 3:30 p.m., and half the venues remain dark until Friday — but even at quarter-speed, the power of the festival is astonishing.

VENICE FILM FESTIVAL OPENS IN ITALY

The Venice film festival opened this week with the premiere of the latest George Clooney film “Gravity” and a gay romantic comedy, “Gerontophilia”.

Gravity, a sci-fri thriller starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, opened the festival, which is the oldest film festival in the world. Gerontophilia is made by Toronto based photographer, pornographer and indie director Bruce LaBruce.

The Venice film festival does not have the protocol as the Cannes film festival, and is regarded as more adventurous than Cannes. After the Venice film festival is the massively important and influential Toronto Film Festival.

Former Disney child star Miley Cyrus shocked parents and fans at her MTV VMB performance at the weekend. The 20 year old’s danced in nude hot pants, with dance moves of a highly sexual nature. After the performance the media have been quick to judge the young singer, made famous by Hannah Montana. However, many have blamed the media of hypocrisy arguing that young female performers feel obliged to push the boundaries of what is acceptable in order to be successful.

Last year Miley Cyrus father, Billy Ray Cyrus, spoke out about his concerns for his daughter, saying he feared for her life and that he believed his family were under attack from Satan. In the interview he went on to say, “Somewhere along this journey, both mine and Miley’s faith has been shaken that saddens me the most.”

Billy Ray Cyrus was highly critical of her handlers, saying that believed both his daughter and himself were used in order to generate headlines to promote her career, “some of these handlers are perhaps more interested in handling Miley’s money than her safety and her career”.

In a sweeping move, San Antonio Texas, home of John Hagee multimillion dollar mega church mogul and tv evangelist, have purposed a law to ban Christians or anyone who has ever face booked, tweeted, or spoken in favor of traditional marriages.

John Hagee author and multimillionaire made his fortune on the “RAPTURE” doctrine, or the run and hide and let them have the world since it’s going to blow up anyway, line of reasoning. Not only has he become a multimillionaire, praying on silly women who cannot think for themselves, he has pushed this doctrine via Trinity Broadcasting, God TV, Day Star and countless others.

It is said that John’s huge corporation leases the satellite time and programing time for God TV and others, in america. Meaning what?

In essence, if you are not part of John Hagee’s perception of biblical things, you cannot speak to their television audience. Meaning what?

Mogul Hagee seeks to control the message to the church. Meaning what?
Live under the law and wait to die or rapture. Meaning what?

By gaining a position of power via the media, he controls the message. Meaning what?

The very people of his city are rebelling against that control, since it HAS NOT BEEN DONE IN THE SPIRIT ! Meaning what?

Not by might, not by power or financial control but rather do it in the spirit or the flesh resists and the natural mind fights.

The world is revolting against those in the christian media and their control agenda’s, and those control agendas will not allow prophets to train how to do it in the spirit.

CHURCHES ATTEMPTING TO SKIRT THE LAW ON GAY MARRIAGES

It’s only a matter of time now until churches begin to be sewed by gay couples they refuse to marry under the hate crimes laws.

To date Christian wedding businesses, photographers and the like, have been sewed under these hate crime laws. It seems you cannot practice your faith, except within the confines of a small church building.

Since the church began throwing “retreats” years ago, they have all but been corralled into small empty buildings, to practice these archaic hate based rituals. The results of retreating are very evident these days or as one man said “Hey religious, hows that retreating plan working out for you?”

Quoting from united press “It’s probably one of the most difficult issues our churches are facing right now,” said Doug Anderson, a national coordinator with the evangelical Vineyard Church. “It’s almost an impossible situation to reconcile what’s going on in our culture, and our whole theology of welcoming and loving people, versus what it says in the Bible.”

What does it actually say in the bible Doug Anderson? Oh… cast the demons out. First thing the disciples did when new people came in. We read in both Luke 8 and Mark 16 that Mary Magdalen once had seven devils within her and they were cast out and that The Blood of Jesus cleanses generational sin, or demonic access that infiltrates a persons personality. These are the voices / thoughts many wrestle with night and day in a private personal torment.

Of course that’s not what Doug operates in… he only knows the law and nice church…

Hmm… seems like the demonic is conquering in the world and the poor christian is hiding in the church… Doug in the Bible, only a few went into the promised land and fought and made it their home. The multitude followed you into your buildings and wasted their lives decorating said buildings so they could reside in the safety confines of a dead church, creating their own “escapism” reality… never to be heard of again in the real world…

Doug Jesus in the Bible, called those blind leaders of the blind…

HUNDREDS DEAD IN CHEMICAL WEAPONS ATTACK IN SYRIA

The medical aid charity Medecins Sans Frontieres has said it has treated around 3,600 patients in Syrian hospitals it works with who had “neurotoxic symptoms”, and they report 355 deaths.

MSF say the patients arrived at the hospitals on August 21st, the day Syrian rebel forces say the regime launched a chemical weapons attack. So far the Assad regime has denied the attacks, and has refused access to the site by UN inspectors.

MSF say they have no way to scientifically prove that the patients symptoms were caused by the use of chemical weapons, however MSF Director of Operations Bart Janssens, said “MSF can neither scientifically confirm the cause of these symptoms nor establish who is responsible for the attack,”

“However, the reported symptoms of the patients, in addition to the epidemiological pattern of the events, characterised by the massive influx of patients in a short period of time, the origin of the patients, and the contamination of medical and first aid workers, strongly indicate mass exposure to a neurotoxic agent.

“This would constitute a violation of international humanitarian law, which absolutely prohibits the use of chemical and biological weapons.”

The attack has led to wide spread international condemnation, and calls for the international community to take action against the Assad government. President Obama has previously said the use of chemical weapons would constitute the crossing of a red line and would change his calculations.
