G20 Meeting Cannes 3rd-4th November

World leaders will meet at the next G20 summit to take place in Cannes, France, 3rd-4th November 2011. With the world on the brink of global financial meltdown, this meeting is being seen as one of the last chances the world leaders will have of formulating a plan to avert financial catastrophe.

The date has galvanised resolve amongst Europe’s leaders to come prepared with a plan for the European Debt Crisis.  President Sarkozy and Chancellor Merkel have set a dead line for the end of October to come up with a “comprehensive” response, in time for the G20 summit. Their talks have come as the US, UK and developing world have placed increased pressure on the Eurozone to come up with a plan, criticising Europe for thus far “doing too little, too late.”

Merkel and Sarkozy are seeking to put together a package that will massively recapitalize the European banking sector in order to re-establish global confidence in Europe’s banks, as well as to bolster the European Financial Stability Facility bail-out Fund (EFSF), provide strong action on Greece, and plan ahead to avoid this happening again.

Major problems to find a solution exist. In particular, France is reluctant to use tax-payers money to help the banks, and Germany does not want to continue to pour money into the EFSF. The IMF has estimated that the European banks have a black hole of €200bn, and that the EFSF requires at least an extra €440bn.

The chairman of the Bank of England has said that the current financial crisis is “the most serious… since 1930s, if ever.” Never in history has the global financial system been so interlinked and integrated; meaning that if one part of the system fails, the knock on effects are felt everywhere. If Europe falls, she will take America and the UK with her!

The 1930s financial turmoil led to social meltdown as well as serious political problems. The economic woes of the 1930s helped Hitler’s rise to power in Germany and Communism take hold. However, there is still hope. The west does not need to revisit that type of social and political meltdown. We can yet find a way forward. Key to a solution being found is strong leadership, collective international resolve, and nerve to make tough choices. The G20 meeting in Cannes may be the last chance for the world leaders to show these attributes. Up until now there has been a lack of leadership, unwillingness to act and confusion.

The current raft of measures being considered may help avert economic meltdown, but what is also needed is a workable solution to resolve the fundamental problems within the Eurozone. Until the issue of imbalances between creditor and debtor nations are resolved, any measures will prove to be a sticking plaster on the problem, and we simply stave off disaster for another day.

This is the hour our leaders need wisdom and an atmosphere controlled by the Spirit of God. Support Prophet TV so we can run an intercessory prayer trip into Europe at this key hour of decision making; It will impact upon your life as well as the lives of the next generation.

EU Threatens To Sue The UK

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=141aL2yfm-s

November 2011

The European Union has threatened to sue the UK if the British government do not  relax their benefit rules. Currently EU nationals must pass a “right to reside” test in order to claim the generous welfare benefits available. The EU argues that the UK criteria is too tough and ought to come in line with the more generous EU rules.

For many years now, there has been an open border system in operation between the member states of the European Union, and this has made travel between the nations readily accessible. As the EU has expanded in recent years, to allow less affluent nations to enter, nations like the UK have been anxious to stem the tide of EU wide immigration.

When Poland joined the EU in 2004, over 600,000 Polish economic migrants came to the UK. This massive wave of immigration was not supported in improvements to health care provision and school places. As a consequence some areas are struggling to cope with the massive influx of people seeking to access services.

As a consequence, the UK government has sought to limit EU immigration, especially since other eastern European nations have become members. If the EU is successful in changing the UK rules, it will cost the UK government an extra £2.5 billion, at a time when the government is seeking to drastically reduce the nations welfare bill.

The British government are incensed by this interference from Brussels, with the Work and Pensions Secretary, Iain Duncan Smith, saying “These new proposals pose a fundamental challenge to the UK’s social contract. They could mean the British taxpayer paying out over £2 billion extra a year in benefits to people who have no connection to our country and who have never paid-in a penny in tax.

“This threatens to break the vital link which should exist between taxpayers and their own government.” He added: “I sense this is part of a wider movement, coming in the same week as the proposals for a financial transactions tax across Europe, which threatens to punish UK banks by decreasing their competitiveness abroad.”

Brussels have given the UK two months to comply, or the nation will be taken to the European Court, although Britain has been supported by France and Germany in opposing this move.

European Bailout Fund- Oct ’11 updated

Monday, 31 October 2011 updated to June 2012

Last October we ran a mission into Europe. This was a crucial time as European Union leaders were about to hold a key summit to deal with the ongoing debt crisis.

The week leading up to the summit the negative headlines continued, yet the stock markets across Europe rose each day, resulting in the highest market gains in 11 months.

The summit was also very fruitful, a way forward was presented, including: a hair-cut for Greek debt, a €1 trillion bail-out fund, and a deal to re-capitalise the banks.

However, within days of the mantle leaving Europe the optimism evaporated and the deal struck seemed to fall apart as Greece called for a referendum, and investors backed off from contributing to the bailout fund. One partner watching the news, and unaware that the Europe mission had ended and the mantle had returned to America said, “I knew DP was out of Europe, it all just fell apart suddenly, and the hope left.”

Since then, we have seen a change of government in France, Spain closer to financial ruin, and threats of a breakdown in the pact made during Sarkosy’s Presidency with member nations over the fiscal pact.

However, now the mantle is back in Europe, decisions have been made to enable financial support to Spain, and Greece is continuing to work through her financial difficulties, with the new French president working with EU member nations for a way through the debt crisis.

A sustained Prophet.TV presence is essential.

Support Prophet TV so we can maintain our mantle regularly in these regions.

Eurozone Debt Deal…

At the much anticipated meeting of European Union heads of state in Brussels a deal was reached to hopefully solve the continuing debt crisis threatening the world economy.

Leaders agreed that the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF), used to bailout nations like Greece when they are in trouble, has been increased to €1 trillion. Leaders also managed to reach a deal which will see a Greek debt haircut of 50%, and a plan was also reached to recapitalize the European banks. The problems in Italy were also discussed, with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi giving assurances to the EU meeting, that his government will continue with it’s austerity drive and will seek to have a balanced budget by 2013.

When the deal was announced global stock markets rose at the signs that action had finally been taken. However, it very quickly became apparent Europe was by no means out of the woods. The deal is very short of detail. Nothing was said about how the EU will find the €1 trillion required for the EFSF and since then EU officials have been in talks with China to raise the loan. It was agreed that the fine detail of how to raise the money would be discussed at the next EU summit of leaders in December.

Furthermore, despite stock markets rising on the news, the global bond markets did not follow. The bond markets treated the deal with a great deal of caution. Since it is the global bond markets that lend to governments this is not a good sign. Put simply, investors are not investing in Europe, it is too high risk. If bond markets stop lending to large western economies, it means public sector wages go unpaid, schools close, and hospitals run out of cash. This would result in  serious civil unrest.

As for the recapitalization of the banks. When the details were looked at it was found the amount agreed upon is woefully inadequate. Analysts at Credit Suisse, after looking at the figures, concluded that this is not really a bank recapitalization at all. The recapitalization was so important because the banking sector in Europe makes up a significant proportion of GDP. If the banks fail, and require sovereign nations to bail them out it will be very difficult, and would likely have a snow ball effect on that nations credit rating. This is a particular problem for France, whose banks have a high exposure to the Greek debt.

The haircut for Greece also comes with undesirable consequences for Greece. They are to have EU officials installed in Athens, who will not oversee the running of their economy, in effect Greece has lost her economic sovereignty. This is the fate of any nation now, that requires a bailout.

With the recent attention being given to Greece and Italy, we cannot forget Portugal. Portugal is beginning to show the same signs that Greece had before it went into financial meltdown.

Behind all the deals and negotiations are the citizens of Europe, who are becoming increasingly angry at the whole affair. Solvent nations are seeing their citizens angry that they are having to bailout out the wrongs of others, and those nations in financial difficulty are seeing increased civil unrest due to the crippling austerity packages put in place. Across Europe nationalism is growing.

The deal may succeed, but there are a lot of factors at work which could cause it to unravel very quickly. This is not a time for us to be putting our faith in the politicians to find a solution; It is the time to support the work of Prophet TV, to enable the missions in Europe to continue. Economic meltdown need not happen, but we must protect Europe to ensure that it doesn’t.

European Bailout Fund- Oct ’11

UN Human Rights Committee

Geneva, Switzerland is home to the United Nations Human Rights Committee.

The UN prides itself on upholding the human rights of the poor, oppressed, and marginalised of the world. In the Charter of the UN, they lay out their purpose as that of promoting world peace, freedom of religion, freedom from all forms of discrimination, the promotion of democracy and harmony across nations.

If only it were that simple! Often the “rights” of one group can be in opposition to the “rights” of another. Take abortion as an example. In 1981 the UN passed the “Declaration on the Elimination of All Forms of Intolerance and Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief” They have also passed similar declarations on woman’s rights. Now, Anand Grover, UN Special Rapporteur for Health, has said that it is the right of all women to be able to legally access abortion facilities within their country: “Criminal laws penalising and restricting induced abortion are the paradigmatic examples of impermissible barriers to the realisation of women’s right to health and must be eliminated. These laws infringe upon women’s dignity and autonomy by severely restricting decision-making by women in respect of their sexual and reproductive health.”

The reality of this is that poor nations where abortion is illegal will find themselves bullied into changing the law, regardless of the religious convictions of the general population. Governments of these poor nations will fear the loss of the aid packages the UN has to offer, for refusing to comply to their dictates.

Abortion is not the only area the UN have passed articles on. Recently the UN Human Rights Committee passed, “UN declaration on sexual orientation and gender identity”  How will this be used to change the laws of nation states?

Also in the pipeline for the UN Human Rights Committee is a declaration to see the death penalty outlawed internationally.  They are already using their power to pressurise states with death penalty laws to have a formal moratorium on the death penalty. Whatever ones personal views on these matters, do you want a group of bureaucrats sitting in Geneva, Switzerland deciding how your nation is ran?

Prophet.tv has been highlighting the importance of Switzerland in the global scheme of things. Be aware that this seemingly insignificant region of Europe has a lot of influence over what is happening globally in these days.

The Break Down of Greek Society

What happens to a society when the economy collapses? How does this affect the day to day lives of the people within that society? What happens when the government does not have the money to keep everything working as it once did?

We can see this process happening in Greece, as the nation is effectively bankrupt, and the government is fast running out of options. Greece’s financial woes are largely of her own making. A society based on socialism, with a large proportion of the population employed in public sector jobs, a generous public retirement fund, and national tax avoidance. For years the country has lived far beyond her means. This addiction to debt has been compounded by Greece abandoning her currency, the Drachma, to join the single European currency, the Euro. Being part of the Euro has seriously hampered Greece’s ability to take the necessary action to avoid the economic catastrophe the nation now faces.

Greek’s have a reputation for being loud and gregarious, however, behind this exterior is a generous and civil society built on a strongly matriarchal family unit. The Greek grandmother is a poignant symbol of the nation: the old widow lady dressed in black, with immacualte hair, is a figure which commands the deepest respect from every sector in society. However, a British journalist living and working in Greece observed such a lady begging on the streets of Athens – this was a scene utterly unthinkable a short time ago.

Greek’s are also very civilised and generous, however these attributes are becoming harder to see. Hostility is growing in Greece towards a large immigrant population, with a real fear that the Neo-Nazi movement could make serious political in-roads. Crime is also increasing drastically. In the past Athens was quite a safe city where you hardly heard of muggings, but now muggings are common place. Areas of Athens are becoming no-go areas as crime and drug abuse increase.

Despite the crime and drug abuse on the streets of Athens, behind closed doors the majority of Greek families are simply trying to survive. Many have seen their salaries drop by 25%, whilst taxes increase and basic food prices soar; simply putting food on the table is becoming very hard. There are more tax rises and job cuts to come and as the recession deepens, the coming year is likely to bring further hardship to the people.

Greece has a troubled recent past, after the second world war Greek’s faced tremendous hardship, with people starving to death. Out of this, civil war ripped the nation apart resulting in a brutal military dictatorship until 1974. People again fear a return to the bad days of Greece, as Communist groups call for revolution. Many can see this as a distinct possibility as more and more people become increasingly desperate.

The way the economic crisis is dealt with in the coming months will determine  the outcome for Greece, as well as the rest of Europe. America is not immune from these economic woes. The entire western world has lived on borrowed money for years, we have all grown used to a lifestyle funded on debt, and not on hard earned cash. Many in Greece see the removal of their lifestyle as a loss to their rights, and the rest of Europe and America will be no different. If the rule of law and the political system collapses in Greece, anarchy will ensue and hardship become much worse.

However, we do not need this to happen. God raises up Prophets to take his mantle into regions to protect them from destruction. Poverty, hunger, or anarchy are not what God would have for us, but He needs His mantle to be in these key regions, so they can be steered away from trouble and faith and wisdom be restored. Support Prophet TV so the mantle on this ministry can return to Europe. If the economic system collapses, what we see in Greece today will be America tomorrow.

Crony Capitalism

As part of Obama’s stimulus program vast sums of government money are being handed out in the way of “green loans”. The latest of these was awarded to a company called SolarReserve. SolarReserve will benefit from $737 million, for the development of a solar-thermal project in the Nevada desert.

However, what has now become apparent is that one of the company’s “investment partners” is the PCG Clean Energy and Technology Fund, and that the PCG’s number two is Ronald Pelosi, San Francisco political insider and financial expert, who is also the brother-in-law of Nancy Pelosi, the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives.

This comes in the wake of the Solyndra scandal. Solyndra executives contributed generously to Obama’s 2008 campaign, and one of Solyndra’s biggest investors, George Kaiser, was a frequent visitor to the White House, as well as a generous contributor to the Obama campaign.

It also appears that another investment partner of SolarReserve is Argonaut Private Equity, and the Managing Director of Argonaut Private Equity also served on the board of Solyndra.

As well as these connections between big money Obama supporters and government loan approvals there is yet more! Obama will soon hold a fundraiser at the home of  the prominent Missouri Democrat Tom Carnahan. Carnahan and his family have also contributed heavily to Obama’s 2008 campaign; and Carnahan is also the director of the Wind Capital Group. Last year, Wind Capital’s Lost Creek Farm facility in northwest Missouri received a $107 million tax credit from the Treasury.

With so much money being given to companies with close ties to Obama, is it little surprise people are asking questions and wondering if this does not speak of corruption within the democratic party and governing  administration?

IMF, World Bank and EU deal for Europe’s Debt Crisis

This last week delegates from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank and the Eurozone have been meeting in Washington DC to try to find a way through the current economic crisis in Europe, which is the biggest immediate threat to the world’s economy.  Failure to find a workable solution will plunge the western world into another deeper recession, if not something much worse.

So far, attempts to solve the problems have done little but delay any real action being taken, and the apparent lack of understanding and leadership amongst Europe’s politicians has sparked fears of global recession throughout the markets.

The latest real suggestion would provide a €2 trillion bailout fund. The hope being, this would provide a sufficient fire-wall around Greece, Portugal and Ireland; as well provide sufficient funds to bail out Spain or Italy if they should require assistance. Furthermore the deal would provide massive re-capitalization of the European banking system. And finally a managed 50% default, or haircut for Greek debt, but still allowing Greece to remain in the Euro.

However, where €2 trillion will be found is unclear. Germany are already skeptical of pumping any more money into bad debt, as well as losing yet more fiscal powers to Brussels. Action is needed fast. The plan has been welcomed by many as a step in the right direction, however it is likely to still be an economically painful road.

The world is now looking to the next G20 meeting in Cannes, France in November, as key in forging a way through this crisis. It is imperative that the spirit under which these complicated and painful decisions will be made, is the right spirit. New York Fashion Week Fall 2011

Monday, 26 September 2011

Prophet TV focused on the New York Fashion Week in Spring of this 2011. Why?

A Prophet never knows why the Boss commades such things, but since he knows the Boss, he is very comfortable with following directions. It’s not about what you know, but rather, Who you know.

Because of obedience, which offended the religious to no end, PTV was established at Lincoln Centre several years before the contract with Lincoln Center and Merceedes Fashion week.

See the problem with the religious, is they are lead of the 666, beasts intelect, and not following the Boss !

Remember it was the religious, that killed the Boss’s son, but that’s another story.

This year during fashion week 2011, Prophet TV encountered heavy spirits of death over the event, as well as sodomite spirits. (One in the same).

During this intercession confrontation, the Prophet was on his death bed dealing with the spirit of death all around. An interesting quote: “I saw death on everything, only at the supper market in the Vegitable dept., was I impressed with how everyting ‘glowed’ with life. It really made me think about the life giving force natural vegtables give all of us.”

It was also reported that, during this battle with death, and the bed ridden sickness it brought on, while cooking homemade chicken soup, the Pot shattered ! This is not possible but, as our Prophet was so depleted and really need the life giving substance of that meal, then it shatters, does reveal the level of demonic spirit of death our Prophet finally defeated.
Thank’s to the finished work!

As the week progressed the demonic spirit over Fashion Week was finaly broken. Wouldn’t you like to stand in this gap and have this level hit you? No? Typical, then support prophet.tv

Thank God somebody goes through the hell you won’t.

Prophet TV, continued this intercession into the Paris Fashion Week which followed on and the result was the exposing of the ant-semitic spirit over John Galliano. John Galliano has now been removed as creative director at Christian Dior. After these events the “gothic death look” was no longer “in”; but was replaced by a fresher, clean living look, based on natural tones.

Fashion Week was again in New York this September, and Prophet TV was quietly holding our presence once again, and interceding over the event. The death spirits of before were unable to gain access, and Christians’ within the industry were able to evangelize openly, and saw many people within the industry saved. (now playing on Prophet.tv)

When the demonic spirit over a region is removed, and the Spirit of God is able to come in, then people are open to the Gospel, and the evangelists are able to operate successfully in their gifting.
Support Prophet.TV and enable this openness to the spirit of God and this level of sacrifice for you and your family to continue.

CERN Scientists see Particles Travelling Faster than the Speed of Light

Scientists at the prestigious CERN Particle Physics complex, near Geneva, Switzerland (home to the Large Hadron Collider) believe they have managed to fire the tiny sub-atomic particle, the neutrino, at a speed greater than the speed of light.

For the last three years scientists at CERN have been testing and retesting the result to ensure they have done the experiment accurately. In the experiment particles from CERN, Switzerland were fired underground to another particle physics lab, Italy’s Gran Sasso, near Rome, 454 miles away. The neutrinos arrived at the Italian lab 60 nanoseconds faster than light, (that’s sixty billionth of a second). Although that sounds tiny, in the world of particle physics it is significant, and can be measured to a high degree of accuracy. The CERN and Gran Sasso scientists have repeated the experiment at least 15,000 times, with the same result. Under normal circumstances this would be conclusive enough, however with a result of this significance further independent research will be required.

If independent research confirms the result it will re-write the fundamentals of the laws of physics as we know them. Albert Einstein first postulated that the speed of light was a universal constant, this formed the basis of his Theory of Special Relativity; and underpins much of modern physics. The consequences of his theory being wrong are unimaginable. Physicists are now postulating the neutrinos are moving in and out of other dimensions, or this may provide some tangible evidence into the world of string theory.

The scientific community are now eagerly awaiting physicists in America and Japan to confirm their results.

Palestinian Bid for UN Membership

Friday 23rd September sees the Palestinian Authority submit and application to the United Nations for full UN Membership.

The UN has three types of status:

1. Full Membership: According to the charter of the United Nations, “membership is open to peaceful nations that are willing and able to carry out the duties required by the charter”. Upon the recommendation of the Security Council, the General Assembly decides whether to approve a nation’s candidacy.

2. Non-Member Status: Can also be conferred, allowing certain countries, organisations or entities to benefit from collaborations with any of the UN’s specialised agencies

3. Observer: Grants permission to attend UN General Assembly meetings. The Vatican and the Palestinian Authority currently have observer status.

It is highly unlikely the bid will succeed, since Full Membership has to be voted on by the UN Security Council, and America has a veto within the Council. However, America is unable to veto any vote in the General Assembly, therefore it is more likely Palestine will be granted Non-Member status.

This would strengthen Palestine’s hand, and place significant pressure on Israel and America to concede to the Palestinian demands of statehood, along the lines of pre-1967 borders (these borders have been deemed as indefensible for Israel, in previous UN resolutions), with East-Jerusalem as the capital.

However if the bid for full membership is not pursued violence could erupt in the Palestinian areas against Israel, so either way this is a very sensitive and potentially inflammatory situation.  Pray for God’s wisdom over all the leaders of the United Nations and particularly Netanyahu and Abbas to reach agreement outside of the United Nations forum.

European Debt Crisis Threatens the Banking System

Economists in Europe now believe the French banking system is days away from requiring re-capitalization, and the Italian banks are not far behind them.

French banks have massive exposure to the European debt crisis, in particular to Greek debt. One of France’s biggest banks, BNP, alone has a eurozone sovereign debt exposure of some €75bn, amounting to roughly 6% of total assets, including €14bn of Greek debt and €21bn of Italian government bonds.

There is continued speculation that the Germans will kick the Greeks out the Eurozone; if this happens Greek debt will be worthless, and the banks will lose their money.

The whole problem is compounded by the lack of clear understanding about how to deal with the crisis as a whole. So far measures have been more like a sticking plaster on a gaping wound, as the victim slowly bleeds to death. Politicians from every European nation have failed to grasp the enormity of the problems they face, and no viable solution has presented itself. This week Barak Obama, as well as the Chinese Premiere, have urged the European leaders to take more responsibility for the crisis and to take decisive action in order to stablize the markets.

Although these issues may all seem very distant – affecting Continental Europe, the Europe problem is the biggest factor influencing global markets at this time. If a sustainable solution is not found and implemented it will not only be the European economy that will crash, it will crash the global economy. This is a time when developed nations have nothing left in their economic arsenal to fight off economic armageddon 1931 style.

With the difficulties facing Europe one could say a miracle is needed. Certainly to steer Europe safely through this crisis, wisdom and conviction are essential on a Biblical scale. We have just witnessed what happens when the mantle on Prophet TV enters a region, in New York hurricanes changed course as soon as the mantle entered the city. Prophet TV has many testimonies of the power on this ministry, to turn economic catastrophe around. This time more than any other, we need God to intervene and show the way ahead. Confidence and faith needs to be returned to Europe, and wisdom prevail in the leaders of the nations of Europe. Support Prophet TV, so these giftings can be brought back into Europe.

Republicans Take New York Congressional Seat

The mantle on Prophet TV returned to New York City last week, and we see this week the Democrats unexpectedly lose a ‘safe’ New York seat they have held since 1923.

In the New York election, Bob Turner, 70, a retired cable TV executive who has never served in elected office, coasted to victory by eight points, defeating David Weprin, 55, who had 20 years experience on Capitol Hill. Weprin was a liberal politician who voted in favor of the legalisation of gay marriage, and has voiced support for the building of a mosque on Ground Zero.

Bob Turner wins Anthoney Weiners,s House Seat- NY Times.com

Although there is unrest amongst the ranks of Democrats no one expected this seat, in such “safe” hands, to fall to the Republicans. The district covers parts of Queens and Brooklyn which have never seen a Republican elected to office.  The people have spoken!

Support the missions Prophet TV is running to see your region changed.
