When the tropical storm, began to develop in the Gulf, which would become Hurricane Isaac, meterologists began to warn that they thought it would hit land in Florida, as a category 1 storm. However, the storm turned and began to head straight for New Orleans.

As Isaac travelled through the Gulf, it hitting Haiti and the Dominican Republic, killing 24 in Haiti and 2 in the Dominican Republic.

Hurricane Isaac hit land at New Orleans exactly 7 years after Hurricane Katina devastated the city.

Although Isaac did not cause the damage of Katrina the new multi-billion dollar levee protecting the New Orleans coast was breached.

  1. Another hurricane starts off the tip of Africa and comes straight for the USA. Am I the only one that seems to thing that these hurricanes have a mind of their own?

What about the coincidence of a hurricane hitting New Orleans 7 years to the day of Katrina. If you were reading in and around both events, you know that a major gay pride festival runs in this city right after Labour day (first monday of September). Hmm….lets put the dots together….A hurricane with a mind of its own targeting the same city and the same festival!!! Mere coincidence or just another ‘WTF’ moment?

What about Haiti getting bashed again and again and again with earthquakes and hurricanes? Is something seriously wrong with the people or the atmosphere in that country that aids in its shockingly consistent string of bad luck?

On a better note, anyone see how the remnants of the hurrican actually ended up bringing some relief rain to the drought ridden parts of the US?

Things are never quiet just coincidences are they!!!
