Zuckerberg Wants Churches to Go Online

Mark Zuckerberg is incentivizing church-goers to permanently switch to Facebook as their means of connecting with God. The tech giant is building relationships with church leaders, who have used the social media platform during the pandemic. They hope the churches will switch their church activities online.

Reportedly, Facebook and Hillsong Church, Georgia have been in discussions over the pandemic, to see what church online could look like.

“Together, we are discovering what the future of the church could be on Facebook,” said Sam Collier, Hillsong’s pastor.

Presbyterians to divest against Israel

DETROIT — The US Presbyterian Church on Friday became the most prominent religious group in the US to endorse divestment as a protest against Israeli policies towards the Palestinians.  They voted to sell church stock in three different companies whose products Israel uses in the occupied territories.

The American Jewish Committee, a policy and advocacy group based out of New York, stated that the vote was “driven by hatred of Israel.”

Israeli officials, along with many American Jewish groups, denounced the campaign as an attempt to delegitimize the Jewish state.

In a statement on its Facebook page, the Israeli Embassy in Washington denounced the resolution as “shameful.”

“Voting for symbolic measures marginalizes and removes its ability to be a constructive partner to promote peace in the Middle East,” said the statement.

Omar Barghouti, a co-founder of the BDS (boycott, divestment and sanctions) movement, lauded the vote as a “sweet victory for human rights.”

He indicated that Presbyterian supporters of Palestinian rights have introduced divestment into the U.S. mainstream and have given Palestinians “real hope in the face of the relentless and intensifying cruelty of Israel’s regime of occupation, settler colonialism and apartheid.”

Two other smaller U.S. religious groups have also divested in protest of Israeli policies: the Friends Fiduciary Corp., which manages assets for U.S. Quakers, and the Mennonite Central Committee.

Scientology founders great-grandson blasts church

Jamie DeWolf, the great-grandson of L. Ron Hubbard the Scientology founder, says that the Scientology church destroyed his family.

Even though he never met his great grandfather DeWolf has labeled Hubbard as a “portly red-headed charismatic lying con-man pseudoscience self-help author” and describes Scientology as a “pyramid scheme that sells secrets and they sell them under the guise of self-help.”

In an interview with CBS out of San Francisco, DeWolf relates a story of how the church spied and followed on him with a number of Scientologists.

DeWolf feels that Tom Cruise is a “golden mascot,” and that his marriage breakup with Katie Holmes, was probably due to her becoming aware of the behind the scenes of Scientology.  However he views Cruise as “… another victim of the mirage that my great grandfather created around himself,”

Lesbian Reverend at heart of Presbyterian gay marriage quandary

Jane Spahr, won’t be present at the Presbyterian Church’s legislative body meeting this week where they will discuss whether or not Presbyterian ministers will be allowed to perform same-sex marriages.

Jane Spahr-69, a lesbian evangelist, resident of San Francisco and… a Reverend, has a history of defying the church and for being rebuked by the church court for performing same-sex weddings in California.  She states: “I’m hoping that the General Assembly will be touched by the spirit, and they will see our marriages not as second class but as equal with our brothers and sisters”.

The robust and confident Church of 1958 no longer exists. Catholic colleges and universities remain Catholic in name only. Parochial schools and high schools are closing as rapidly as they opened in the 1950s.

Police: Mega Pastor Creflo Dollar choked and struck daughter

Creflo Dollar, the televangelist whose show air’s on the TBN-Trinity Broadcast Network  and the God.TV Network, has been arrested on assault charges.

Dollar, reportedly, assaulted his daughter for being “disrespectful”. Creflo Dollar’s 15 year old daughter had wanted to go to a party, but was not allowed because of poor school grades. Dollar has reportedly admitted spanking her, and then wrestling her to the floor after she began to hit him back. However, his daughter claims that her father punched her repeatedly and choked her for 5 seconds.

His daughter phoned the police, who found a scratch on her neck. She told police the scratch was as a result of her father choking her.

In a statement to the press Creflo Dollar has said, “As a father I love my children and I always have their best interest at heart at all times, and I would never use my hand to ever cause bodily harm to my children. The facts in this case will be handled privately to further protect my children. My family thanks you for your prayers and continued support.”

This comes after other unwelcome press coverage of his ministry. Creflo Dollar, founder of World Changers Ministries, was allegedly the favourite preacher of Rudy Eugene. Eugene was shot dead by police, who found him naked, eating the face off a homeless man in Miami.

Creflo Dollar, along with Bishop Eddie Long, is one of America’s leading African-American preachers. He has built a ministry around preaching prosperity. His ministry along with Bishop Eddie Long’s, was one of six others investigated by Iowa U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley from 2007 to 2010. The investigation was conducted into the financial activities of the ministries. The investigation found no evidence of wrong doing.

Christian Persecution in the Middle East

Christmas is a difficult time for the church in Muslim nations. It is often when authorities will clamp down on the churches, and when individuals will attack believers in their communities. Christmas 2011 has been no exception.

Since Mubarak was removed from power in Egypt the Christian community in Egypt have found themselves in an increasingly dangerous position, as Islamic fundamentalist groups seek to destroy the remnant of Christianity within Egypt (before the rise of Islam, Egypt was a Christian nation). At the end of the year in southern Egypt a young Christian man was arrest after a drawing of the prophet Muhammad was posted on his Facebook page. The 17 year old denies doing this, saying his friends posted the image. Whatever the truth may be, Muslims in his home town have reacted angrily retaliating by setting fire to the homes of other Christians in the town. Egypt like many other Muslim nations has strict Blasphemy laws; often used to detain Christians, or as justification for violence against Christians.

In Iran 2011 saw a crack down on church activity, in particular upon converts from Islam. The crack down was intensified over the Christmas period, when pastors were arrested, and churches raided. In one incident even the children were initially detained by police. One man, Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, has been sentenced to death for refusing to denounce his faith.

Christians detained in Iran can find themselves in the countries infamous Evin Prison, notorious for it’s brutality and harsh conditions. One woman lately released after nearly a year in detention, has been left unwell due to the harsh conditions she experienced- this is not uncommon.

However, the worst violence this Christmas against Christian’s in the region has been in the predominantly Muslim Northern Nigeria. Nigeria has seen churches destroyed and Christian’s killed, in an al-Qaeda lead offensive, with the objective of forcing all Christians to leave the region.

These places are spiritually dark. The devil delights in the spilling of innocent blood, and he has captured these people into the lie of thinking they are doing the will of God by attacking, and killing followers of Jesus. Many of these places were once Christian nations; Egypt was taken for Islam as Muslims settled in the region and had bigger families than the Christians, until they were the majority, since then the Christian minority have been oppressed.

When the mantle comes into Europe, we often see God moving in these Middle Eastern countries too; pray as Prophet TV comes into Europe that the small Middle Eastern church will be strengthened and that Sons of God will be raised up in these regions also.

Marilyn Manson grew up in a Christian family. He attended a Christian school. As a boy he went after the music his church, his parents, and his school told not to buy, music like Black Sabbath.

Now he professes to be a member of the church of satan, and his shows are fully of hate towards the church and God.

He calls it art. But the music he releases has been linked to horrific murders and acts of violence.

As the church protests at Manson, it serves only to promote him and his music. If the church gained an anointing to deal with the heavy demonic spirits controlling Manson they would be really helping their children.

UK Government Looking to Redefine Marriage

The British Prime Minister, David Cameron, has began a public consultation into “how” marriage “ought to be defined” in the UK. Currently same-sex couples are permitted to enter into civil-partnerships. These civil-partnerships allows all the legal benefits of marriage, without the title.

However, Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender (LGBT) groups are campaigning for marriage itself to be redefined to allow for same-sex couples to be married. This would not only be taught in schools as what marriage is; but churches would be obliged to allow same-sex couples access to church buildings to become married.

Opinion polls show the majority of the people are opposed to any changes in the definition of marriage, and groups opposed to the move highlight the importance of traditional marriage in society for raising children.

Spiritually Prophet TV has highlighted the consequences for a region when LGBT marriage is made legal.

Prophet TV is seeking to go to Rome. However, what makes Rome important?

Rome is the centre of the Catholic Church. In the centre of the city of Rome is Vatican City. The Vatican is an independent nation state and is home to the Pope. This is where all the major decisions are made as to the direction of the Rome Catholic Church. Catholic’s believe the Pope to be God’s representative on earth, and follow his every word- what the Pope says and does influences 1.1 Billion people world wide. Therefore the ruling spirit over the Vatican is very important. Although Catholics believe in Jesus, there is a powerful dragon over the Catholic Church, which controls the people through religion. As God has taught through Prophet TV, you go for the source, when dealing with the demonic- and in the case of the Catholic church that is Rome.

The Vatican city was built on the location believed to be where the apostle Peter was crucified. It was also the location of Emperor Nero’s circus. Nero was basically mad! He burnt Rome, to give himself an excuse to persecute the church, his persecution was the first major state organised persecution of the church. His circus was where many Christians died and were thrown to the lions.

In the centre of the Vatican is St. Peter’s Square- where the Pope gives all his grand sermons in front of mass crowds. In the centre is a large Egyptian obelisk. This was originally built in the Egyptian city of Heliopolis, and was moved to Rome by the Emperor Caligula (12-41 AD).

One of the major issues facing the Catholic Church is celibacy laws. God has made us with sexual hormones and instituted marriage has the correct and righteous way for a man and a woman to enjoy intercourse. However, for Catholic Priests, and Nuns struggling to control these natural desires the enemy has been able to gain access to their lives and perversions have taken root within the Catholic church- the worst of these being the recent pedophile scandals. There is no real biblical reason not to allow marriage, so why are these celibacy laws in place? Up until the 12 century priests were allowed to marry. However, because of the medieval feudal system property, wealth and title were always passed father to son. So the Catholic church was losing vast sums of money, and land to the sons of its priests, and the sons were automatically made priests- regardless of education or “moral credentials”! Therefore the way they found to stop this was making celibacy laws! Basically it was all about the money!

Prophet TV has been teaching that when we open a door to the demonic, i.e through sin, that demon has access to us, and we need to be delivered. As with a man so with a city. So the centuries of undealt with sin in the Vatican City have allowed powerful principalities to gain access. Much blood has been spilled through the Vatican, as many of the Pope’s were ruthless, brutal murderers gaining power via corruption and killing their rivals- especially in the Middle Ages. Not hard to believe, since the Pope was the most powerful man in Europe. It is also apparent that the sexual scandals which have been exposed in recent years are no stranger the the Catholic church, past Popes would  entertain “boys”, engaged in homosexuality, and many frequented prostitutes. One Pope was said to have made the Vatican like a “whorehouse”.

Rome is a city that has global influence. The enemy knows this- he has targeted the Vatican for centuries. Only a Son of God has the authority to take down the dragon, and allow the Presence of God to come into a region to influence the thoughts of men. Suicide in France: Some Hypotheses

The relatively high suicide rate in France is investigated and a number of influences are hypothesized as causative. These include, on a societal and demographic level, a history of high immigration, low emigration, a high proportion of old people, high urbanization, extraordinarily high alcoholism, and the extreme gap in income between upper and lower classes. The rigid bureaucracy of the state can leave the individual feeling infuriated and defeated. The legal system produces many injustices, such as long imprisonment without charges. The Church is liberal and supplies little prophylaxis against suicide. Overall, social integration must be judged to be low. Culturally, French values include an underlying pessimism, no strong fear of death, strong pressures to behave correctly and much malice toward neighbors. The modal personality structure contains defensive, constricted elements producing a vulnerable pseudo-autonomy. French child-rearing practices are effective in producing such personalities.
