Catholic Archbishop Vigano has asked bishops, and priests to pray exorcism at this time of “terrible tribulation”. He has said the Evil One has gone on a “frenzy” and has increase his attempts to “tempt souls into sin”.
The Archbishop has called on clergy to use Holy Saturday, traditionally a day of quiet meditation to be used. It is the day between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. And according to Catholic tradition is when Christ descended into hell to preach to the souls in torment.
Vilano said, “I should like to ask all my brother Bishops and Priests to join me as I recite this Exorcism, knowing the power of this Sacramental – especially when it is recited together with all other Priests – to help the Church in Her fight against Satan. I should also like to recommend that all of you wear a stole, the sign of your Priestly power, and Holy Water.”
Monsignor Rubén Darío Jaramillo Montoya, the bishop of Buenaventura plans to take to the skies to exorcise his entire city. The area is plagued by violence, drug smuggling and poverty.
Montoya announced his decision to sprinkle the city with holy water after the murder and torture of a ten year old girl in the city.
He told local radio: “We have to drive the devil out of Buenaventura, to see if we can restore the peace and tranquility that our city has lost due to so many crimes, acts of corruption and with so much evil and drug trafficking that invades our port.
“We want to go around the whole of Buenaventura, from the air, and pour holy water on to it to see if we exorcise and get out all those demons that are destroying our port, so that God’s blessing comes and gets rid of all the wickedness that is in our streets.
San Juan Tlacotenco (south-west Mexico) – Shortly after starting to play with an Ouija board, three American friends (Alexandra Huerta, 22, her brother Sergio, 23, and cousin Fernando Cuevas, 18) reportedly became possessed by evil spirits and were taken to hospital.
Alexandra’s parents said they had called paramedics after a local Catholic priest in the village of San Juan Tlacotenco refused to perform an exorcism on the three because they were not churchgoers.
Minutes into it, she started ‘growling’ and thrashing around in a ‘trance-like’ state.
Sergio and Fernando also reportedly started showing signs of ‘possession’, including feelings of blindness, deafness and hallucinations.
In reporting to the home, Paramedics also took Alexandra’s parents to hospital.
Alexandra was restrained to prevent her from hurting herself, before treating the three with painkillers, anti-stress medication and eye drops.
‘They spoke of feeling numbness, double vision, blindness, deafness, hallucinations, muscle spasm and difficulty swallowing.’
The Catholic Church’s top exorcist, who claims to have sent 160,000 demons back to hell, says he wants Pope Francis to allow all priests to start performing the ritual to deal with a rising demand for exorcisms from the faithful.
Father Gabriele Amorth, 88, who also heads the International Association of Exorcists, told The Sunday Times that he will ask Pope Francis to allow all priests the right to do exorcisms without the church’s approval. According to the report, priests currently need special approval from their bishop to perform the rite and it is rarely granted.
“I will ask the Pope to give all priests the power to carry out exorcisms, and to ensure priests are properly trained for these starting with the seminary. There’s a huge demand for them,” said Father Amorth.
He explained that he was inspired to make the request after watching Pope Francis perform what he insists was an exorcism on a man “possessed by four demons” in St. Peter’s Square.
“The Pope is also the Bishop of Rome, and like any bishop he is also an exorcist,” Amorth reportedly told La Repubblica newspaper. “It was a real exorcism. If the Vatican has denied this, it shows that they understand nothing.”
“There was now, more than ever, a need for exorcists to combat people possessed by ‘sorcerers’ and ‘Satanists,'” he noted in that report.
An 84-page update of exorcism rites compiled in 1614 and drawn up in 1998 stipulates how Catholic priests trained as exorcists should operate. According to the guidelines established by the church, they have to follow a ritual known as “De exorcismis et supplicationibus quibusdam,” or “Of exorcisms and certain supplications.”
Amorth explained that Pope Francis’ exorcism on May 19 helped to balance the growing atheism in the world where people don’t believe in the devil anymore.
“We live in an age in which God has been forgotten. And wherever God is not present, the Devil rules,” said Amorth.
“Today, unfortunately, bishops don’t appoint sufficient exorcists. We need many more. I hope that Rome will send out directives to bishops around the world calling on them to appoint more exorcists.”
Amorth is also an outspoken critic of yoga and Harry Potter books and dismissed them as ungodly hobbies.
“Practicing yoga brings evil as does reading Harry Potter. They may both seem innocuous but they both deal with magic and that leads to evil,” he said.
In addressing Harry Potter, he said: “People think it is an innocuous book for children but it’s about magic and that leads to evil. In Harry Potter the devil is at work in a cunning and crafty way, he is using his extraordinary powers of magic and evil.”
“Satan is always hidden and the thing he desires more than anything is for people to believe he does not exist,” he noted. “He studies each and every one of us and our tendencies towards good and evil and then he tempts us.”
Irma Beatriz, 46, who claims to be possessed by spirits, participates in an exorcism ritual performed by Hermes Cifuentes in La Cumbre, Valle, Colombia. Cifuentes, who is known as “Brother Hermes”, says he has performed more than 35,000 exorcism rituals in the past 25 years.
The Catholic church has seen the demand for exorcism increase of late. The trend is such that the Vatican are this week holding a six day conference on Exorcism.
The Vatican are attributing the increasing demand to readily available satanic groups via the internet, and are describing the interest they are seeing as a “revival in satanism”. People can access information about occult practices within a matter of minutes. The Vatican say, “we must be on guard because occult and satanic practices are spreading a great deal, in part with the help of the internet and new technologies that make it easier to access these rituals”, but also due to the tremendous interest through films like Harry Potter, the Daily Prophet, and syndicated television programs that will run throughout every country for the next 20 years like “Charmed”. Oh, they are just nice witches, that use their power to help out the no power pastors in your local churches. Which is the message to the youth world wide.
God called Prophet.tv to stop Freaky-links, over 10 years ago as it was a Fox program directing world youth to an uncontrolled internet site that would introduce the youth world wide to real occult members and train them the rituals that would allow these demonic beings to invade their souls, all under the guise of “spiritual power”.
God told Prophet TV, “If you do not stop this program, witchcraft will come up so fast the game will be over, as the churches are so asleep, not having a heart for spiritual warfare”.
After a very hard battle, over the spirit over Venice and Santa Monica California, Freaky Links was canceled, and the witches behind it, lost their power as the prince was driven out of the region.
Then God said, “When a spirit goes out of a man it goes through dry places seeking rest, finding none it returns seven times stronger and the man’s condition is worse than before… As it is in a man so is it in a city”.
God revealed this type of “spiritual” warfare would cause major church splits, as people cannot hold covenant through the warfare. So the prophet, was again “gifted” by God with power to deal, and was obedient to enter into that very difficult battle, until the principality was displaced. As a result Freaky-links was canceled, and hundreds of thousands of young people were shielded from that witchcraft as a result, at least it bought the “sleepy” church more time to get it’s act together, but unfortunately the Catholic Church often fails to operate in the power of God, instead relying on religion to cast out the devil- IT DOES NOT WORK. Prophet TV raises up warriors who can stand and fight and cast out the devil. A generation is being captured into witchcraft, because the church would not fight, and the church is still not equipped to deal with it.
Under the mantle of Prophet TV you can be raised up to “set the captives free”.
Note: Jim Morrison of the Doors, “channeled” the woman of the lake, or water spirit in Venice Ca, that empowered his favor. He sold his soul for fame, only to die a miserable death at a young 27 years of old, in Paris France, where PTV is also now established, but that’s another story.
