On Wild Rampage, Bloody Naked Man Chews Woman’s Head

Hawley, Pennsylvania.  State Police report a Doylestown man, while naked and bleeding excessively, was “screaming like an animal” and was “gnawing” on a woman’s head.

The incident occurred early September 7th in Hawley Boro, Pennsylvania.

The suspect Richard Ciminio is 20 years old.

According to investigators, Ciminio unsuccessfully tried to break into a home while dressed only in underwear.  After his first attempt, he then stripped down completely and succeeded in breaking into another home.

While in the property, he jumped out of a second floor window which led to his many injuries.  Apparently unfazed, he continued down the street where he approached two women walking.  Again, according to reports, Ciminio “tackled” one women and “began to gnaw” on her head “while screaming like an animal”.

Upon Police and medic arrival it was reported that Ciminio’s “delusional and confrontational behavior” did not stop, despite being tasered.

According to the investigators, they are not sure if anything caused Ciminio’s behavior.

This report is eerily similar to a Florida story earlier this year.

MEDICAL EXAMINER RULES OUT BATH SALTS IN MIAMI FACE-CHEWING ATTACK

Only Marijuana was detected in the system of the man shot while chewing Ronald Poppo’s face in Florida, so states the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner.  No other drugs were found, including bath salts.

The bizarre behavior has led to much speculation as to the cause.

A toxicology expert, Dr Bruce Goldberger, Professor and Director of Toxicology at the University of Florida said that marijuana by itself wasn’t likely to be the cause of the strange behavior demonstrated by Rudy Eugene.

The Medical Examiner’s office in Miami is well known for being thorough in its work according to Goldberger.

It’s not clear what led to the May 26 attack on Ronald Poppo, a 65-year-old homeless man who remains hospitalized. Eugene’s friends and family have said he was religious, not violent and that he didn’t drink or do drugs harder than marijuana.  Yovonka Bryant said that she and Eugene would often, together, read the Bible and Quran.

The policeman who shot a naked Eugene to death stated, that he was growled at when he told him to stop.  The cause remains unknown what led to the face chewing attack.  Friends and family indicate Eugene was religious and not violent and that he was not inclined to do any other drugs other than marijuana.

…Jackson Memorial Hospital released two photos of 65-year-old Ronald Poppo with his permission on Tuesday afternoon, one showing him walking down a corridor assisted on either side by a hospital worker.

A look at Poppo’s horrific injuries, roughly 2 and a half weeks after the shocking assault on Miami’s MacArthur causeway:

Poppo, who is believed to have been homeless in Miami since the mid-to-late 1970s, is covered by Medicare and Medicaid, officials said.

Poppo was lazing on the MacArthur Causeway’s westbound Biscayne Boulevard exit ramp sidewalk May 26 when attacked in broad daylight by naked 31-year-old North Miami Beach resident Rudy Eugene, who was caught on surveillance camera trying to strip off Poppo’s clothes before brutalizing his face.

A police officer responding to multiple 911 calls from drivers and cyclists shot and killed Eugene when he reportedly ignored orders to stop chewing Poppo’s face. An autopsy reportedly discovered Poppo’s flesh in the so called “Miami Cannibal”‘s mouth, but not in his stomach. Police have speculated that Eugene may have been under the influence of a synthetic drug, but a full toxicology report is still pending.

A man in Baltimore, Maryland, was arrested after the body of his room mate was discovered.

What makes this case unusual is that the man’s heart and brain were removed, and eaten.

But this is not the only case of cannibalism in the news.

Another man was shot dead by police in Miami, after Police found the man naked, and gnawing off the face of a homeless man.

Police are putting this grizzly crime down to LSD.

The first known account of cannibalism came following an expedition to the West Indies, led by Christopher Columbus,

usually in rituals connected to tribal warfare. Columbus and his crew supposedly discovered that the Carib West Indies

tribe participated in a particularly gruesome practice of ritualistically eating the flesh of other humans.

So, are these cases a manifestation of the increase in witchcraft activity in our nation?

Naked Man Allegedly Eating Victim’s Face Shot And Killed By Miami Police

One man is dead and another hospitalized after a bizarre assault off Miami’s MacArthur Causeway reportedly forced a police officer to open fire.

City of Miami police say the incident began Saturday afternoon about 2 p.m. when an officer responded to reports of 2 men fighting in the bike path of the Biscayne Boulevard exit ramp, alongside the Miami Herald’s parking garage. There, according to the Herald, the officer observed a naked man eating another man’s face:

The officer…approached and saw that the naked man was actually chewing the other man’s head, according to witnesses. The officer ordered the naked man to back away, and when he continued the assault, the officer shot him.

The attacker continued to eat the man, despite being shot, forcing the officer to continue firing. Witnesses said they heard at least a half dozen shots.

According to CBS Miami, police sources said the victim had “virtually no face” and was unrecognizable.

“[Officers] attempted to separate them, there was some sort of confrontation,” Miami Police spokesman Willie Moreno told Local10.

Photographs taken from the Herald’s garage show the naked man lying dead at the scene. Police said his victim was transported to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Officials have yet to identify the officer involved, the deceased, or the victim. The incident snarled traffic on the causeway for hours during busy Memorial Day weekend as multiple lanes of vehicles were routed around the crime scene.

UPDATE, 5/27: While Miami Police remain tight-lipped about the incident, investigators are asking witnesses to contact authorities. The Herald reports detectives believe the victim may have been homeless and the naked man suffering from “cocaine psychosis,” which could have prompted him to remove his clothing.
