Tibetan Monks do NYC Sand Mandala Ceremony in 1 Day

New York, NY.  Welcoming the Tibetan Buddhist monks to perform their religious ceremony of a sand mandala is Baruch College.

The event is sponsored by Baruch-Rubin Museum of Art Project.

Monks from the Namdroling Monastery located in Southern India will build the mandala in one day.  Usually the creation of this ceremony is 4-7 days.

A mandala represents some kind of deity or deities.  For instance the Kalachakra mandala contains 722 deities.  The mandala ceremony honors these deities which can also be known as or called gods.  It is intended that the ceremony will release a blessing into the region from these deities or gods.

New York Fashion Week

New York is gearing up for fashion week, starting September 6th.  We have previously reported on the impact fashion week has on the industry as a whole, and how it influences the lives or ordinary women.

John Galliano, former Director of Fashion for Dior. Galliano has been convicted of anti-semitism.

Fashion week occurs at Lincoln Centre New York, close to the location of the recent deaths in the city: the suicide of a man at the Peninsula Hotel on 5th Avenue, on the 8th August; a man shot by police in Times Square the following day; and the tragic shooting outside the Empire State building. The Empire State building shooting involved a man shooting a former work colleague, who worked in the fashion industry, nine others were injured, the gunman was also shot by police.

INNOCENT BLOOD SHED IN MANHATTAN, NEW YORK

Manhattan, New York, has seen a number of unrelated incidents this month. Firstly there was the suicide of a man on August 8th. The man from Florida jumped to his death from the roof of the exclusive Peninsula Hotel on 5th Avenue.

The following day on the 9th August, police shot a man in Times Square. The man had been wielding a knife, threatening the public and police officers. Police tried using pepper spray to stop him, but were unsuccessful. Police said he wiped the pepper spray off his face despite being sprayed six times, and they described his behaviour as “wild”. Police then opened fire on 51-year-old Darrius Kennedy killing him.

And finally there has been the shooting at the Empire State Building, where a man shot an ex-colleague over a work place dispute, before being shot by police himself. However, before police were able to shoot the gunman, Jeffery Johnson, he was able to wound at least nine other people.

Police fatally shoot man in Times Square

A man was shot and killed by police in New Yorks Times Square Saturday afternoon, after he refused to drop the knife he was wielding. Police saw the man, whom they observed smoking marijuana near West 44th Street and Seventh Avenue, NBC News reported. When approached by officers, he became belligerent, and threatened them with a large kitchen knife. The officers ordered the man to drop his weapon repeatedly at they pursued him a number of blocks south of the tourist-filled Times Square, according the the Associated Press.

According to the police, officers pepper-sprayed the man six times, but he did not let go of the 11-inch knife, the AP reported. More from GlobalPost: Son of Sam killer David Berkowitz: Recent shootings senselessBystanders who were in Times Square at the time stopped to watch the pursuit, many snapping photos and videos, the New York Times City Room blog reported.“He was swinging at people as he ran,” 17-year old Jobby Nogver, who was visiting from Boston, told the New York Times. Nogver watched as about a dozen police officers finally surrounded the man and shots were fired on Seventh Avenue between 37th and 38th Streets.“I can’t tell you how many shots,” he said. “It was a lot.”Karon Rakes, who was visiting New York from Cleveland, told the Times the man was taunting the police.“He just started saying, ‘Come on, come get me,’ ” Rakes said.

The man was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital, the AP reported. The he officers involved in the shooting will be on required administrative duty while the incident is reviewed, Deputy Police Commissioner Paul Browne told CNN.

Man plunges 22 stories to his death from Manhattan hotel, lands ON TOP of SUV with driver inside, who escapes from wreck unscathed.

The man, identified only as a 40-year-old from Florida, jumped from the sun deck of the 22nd-floor fitness center. The driver, Engel Nicasio, was having a cup of coffee as he waited for his passenger when he hard a “loud boom” that made him duck.

A man jumped to his death from the roof of a midtown hotel Thursday morning, crushing a Cadillac Escalade that was parked across the street as the driver sat in the SUV drinking coffee, police said.

The apparent suicide occurred at 8:55 a.m. at the posh Peninsula Hotel on Fifth Ave., near 55th St.

The man, identified only as a 40-year-old from Florida, jumped from the sun deck of the 22nd-floor fitness center, landing on the Cadillac Escalade on 55th St. across from the hotel.

The driver of the luxury SUV said he was inside the SUV having a cup of coffee as he waited for his passenger when he hard a “loud boom” that made him duck.

“When I looked up, I saw my whole passenger side was crushed in from above,”

said the driver, Engel Nicasio, 37.

“I thought it was a construction accident or debris from a building.”He exited the vehicle and saw the real horror: the body.

“I was in shock,” he said.

“I had never seen a body like that, it was horrible. I just stood there staring at it until someone pulled me away.”

Disease might not be spreading from people, maybe its the airports.

A recent study looking at the 40 largest airports in the Unites States performed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Civil and Environmental Engineering department looked at the airports most likely to spread a disease.

UNITED NATIONS –  A little more than a week after accusing Iran of supplying arms for Syrias bloody crackdown on democracy-minded rebels, the UN has given Tehran a key seat at negotiations for a global arms treaty.

The stunning appointment by member states attending the UN Conference of the Arms Trade Treaty in New York came last week, and is just the latest example of the world body appointing rogue and repressive regimes to leadership roles. The 15-nation committee to which Iran was appointed hopes to guide what could eventually become the first legally binding global treaty aimed at regulating the international trade of conventional arms.

Critics say asking Iran to help craft a treaty aimed at stopping arms proliferation to terrorist groups and rogue states makes a mockery of the talks. Just two weeks ago, the UN Security Council accused Tehran of shipping arms to Syria, and Iran is also suspected of hiding illegal nuclear weapons facilities from international watchdogs.“It defies logic, morality and common sense for the UN to elect this same regime to a global post in the regulation of arms transfers.”- UN Watch executive director Hillel Neuer

Record US heatwave blamed for spike in murders – Telegraph.

The record breaking heatwave in the midwest and east of the country has seen a rise of deaths, and also a spike in murders. New York is being described as a cauldron, as the temperatures rise and tempers snap in the blistering heat.

Thousands are still without power in the region, after storms took out the power. Meaning homes are without air-conditioning or refrigeration.

The midwest are also seeing crops shrivel up and die in the heat.

Dozens Hurt in I-95 Tour Bus Accident | NBC New York

State police are investigating what caused a tour bus to slam into a guardrail and then a concrete wall on  I-95 in New Rochelle early Wednesday, injuring dozens and wreaking havoc on traffic. Authorities said it does not appear any other vehicles were involved in the accident between exits 15 and 16 at about 6:30 a.m. Multiple lanes on the highway were blocked off as authorities transported two dozen passengers, most of whom suffered minor neck, back and head injuries, to hospitals and tried to piece together what happened. State Police Captain Evelyn Mallard said the bus hit the center guardrail while traveling south on I-95. The forceful impact sent it veering right across three lanes and smack into a concrete wall a tenth of a mile away. No other vehicles were hit.

At some point, the bus driver got out of the vehicle or was ejected, Mallard said. He was bleeding when police got to him, but was conscious and alert. Other passengers were described as the “walking wounded.”

Mallard said the speed of the bus when it first struck the guardrail was unknown. It also wasnt known if the driver was cut off or fell asleep, or if the weather played a factor, but she said the accident could have been far worse. Deputy Fire Chief of New Rochelle Robert Benz said the bus remained in gear after hitting the concrete wall and was still coasting on the highway. A state trooper moved his cruiser in front of the bus to bring it to a halt, investigators said.The bus was headed for a hill and if it hadnt been stopped, “it would have been catastrophic,” said Mallard. According to federal safety records, the Star Tag bus company has not had any reportable accidents in the last two years. The company has a satisfactory safety rating. Investigators are reconstructing the accident at the scene.

MUNRO: Obama ignores questions about controversial de facto amnesty decision 800,000 foreigners aged 15 to 30

President Barack Obama declined to take any questions from reporters about his controversial and significant decision to offer a de facto amnesty to at least 800,000 foreigners aged 15 to 30.

The announcement of the decision comes at a time of record unemployment among low-skilled workers, Hispanics and African-Americans.

For example, less than 50 percent of younger African-Americans have full-time jobs, according to data provided by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Unemployment among Hispanics, youth and African-Americans rose in May, according to the BLS.

Obama justified his immigration decision by saying it is supported by business lobbies.

He declined to answer TheDC’s shouted question about the impact of his new policy on American workers. He also failed to answer another reporter’s question.

Obama’s deputy, Janet Napolitano, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, followed the same strategy Friday during a morning telephone press-conference. She gave a short statement and then left the conference while two officials provided not-for-attribution answers to selected reporters’ questions.

The reporters selected to offer questions included established media outlets and Spanish-language outlets. The chosen outlets included the Los Angeles Times, CNN, National Journal, Univision, The New York Times and La Prensa.

The selected reporters did not ask about the controversial impact on American workers.

American citizenship is a highly valued status, because it provides Americans with legal protections worldwide and gives them access to the shared wealth and sympathy of other Americans. Millions of illegal immigrants have risked their lives to win the prize for themselves and their children.

Obama has been under increased pressure from Hispanic lobbies to provide access to citizenship for up to 10 million illegal immigrants, whose arrival will boost the clout of ethnic lobbies.

In general, Democratic politicians have favored easy immigration, despite the impact it has on American workers, who provided the party’s base up until the 1980s.

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK – SPRING ’11

Prophet TV focused on the New York Fashion Week in Spring of this year. We became established at Lincoln Centre where fashion week is held. During that week Prophet TVencountered heavy spirits of death over the event, as well as sodomite spirits. As the week progressed the demonic spirit over Fashion Week was broken. Prophet TV, continued this intercession into the Paris Fashion Week which followed on and the result was the exposing of the ant-semitic spirit over John Galliano. John Galliano has now been removed as creative director at Christian Dior. After these events the “gothic death look” was no longer “in”; but was replaced by a fresher, clean living look, based on natural tones.

Fashion Week was again in New York this September, and Prophet TV was quietly holding our presence once again, and interceding over the event. The death spirits of before were unable to gain access, and Christians’ within the industry were able to evangelize openly, and saw many people within the industry saved.

When the demonic spirit over a region is removed, and the Spirit of God is able to come in, then people are open to the Gospel, and the evangelists are able to operate successfully in their gifting.  Support Prophet TV to enable this openness to the spirit of God to continue.

Innocent Blood Spilt in New York

January 21st saw four unrelated deaths on the New York Subway. The deaths occurred in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn. When the locations were mapped they formed a triangle, which pointed to the Tibetan Centre in Manhattan.

Our New York ICOTG testified to knowing something was seeking access the days running up to January 21st. After the deaths, the church went to the locations to redeem the land.

Senate Bill 1867: National Defence Authorization Act

Since 9/11 homeland security has been at the top of the political agenda. The threat from Al Qaeda and affiliated groups remains high; and clearly, America’s enemies are not necessarily living in some far off land, but on her very soil. The threat from home grown terrorists is very real.

Consequently the recently passed Bill 1867 National Defence Authorization Act, has integrated national security with homeland security. On the face of things this may appear a good idea, if it keeps America safe. However, the bill has caused widespread alarm due to it’s wider implications.

S 1867 now defines American soil as part of “the battlefield”, and American citizens deemed to be “at war” with America can be detained without charge or trial. The protection offered citizens under the Constitution therefore will be removed.

The language of the bill is so vague it could be open to abuse, and could be used against US citizens; in a worst case scenario paving the way for internment camps.

Such legislation has the appearance of wisdom, but will do very little to protect against the types of terrorist attacks we have seen. What protects a region against destruction is the Presence of God, exposing wickedness, and renewing the minds of those who seek to perpetrate such crimes.

It was Prophet TV bringing the mantle into New York which stopped the Times Square bomb in May 2010. It was Prophet TV establishing an International Church Of The Gates (ICOTG) in Manhattan New York, which brought about the miracle on the Hudson, when a passenger plane landed on the icy Hudson River with no casualties. Scientifically, that plane ought to have crashed resulting in disaster, so this truly was a miracle. However, it is always God’s desire to save.
