LAPD OFFICER HUNTED IN BIG BEAR, CA; SUSPECT IN 3 MURDERS

The man hunt continues for ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner in Big Bear, CA today. He has been accused of three murders including that of a police officer in Riverside, CA and an engaged couple in Irvine, CA.

Last Sunday night, Monica Quan, an assistant coach at Cal State Fullerton, and her fiance, Keith Lawrence, were found in the parking garage of an upscale condominium in Irvine shot to death. On
Monday morning, Christopher Joedan Dorner posted a manifesto on his Facebook page stating that he had murdered the couple. It also included at least 40 other people he threatened violence against. In San Diego, “police equipment” was found in a dumpster and was believed to be his.

Tuesday, military bases were put on alert when it was revealed that Dorner had used his military identification to check into a hotel on the San Diego Naval base days before. Dorner was considered a “person of interest as of Wednesday in the murders of the couple in Irvine. That night around 10:30, he tried to steal a boat from an 81 year old man in Southwestern Yacht Club, Point Loma with speculation he was going to flee to Mexico. The boat became inoperable when a rope became tangled around the propeller.

Early Thursday morning, an officer in Corona was grazed in the head with a bullet while protecting a family mentioned in the manifesto. A short time later, two Riverside offers were shot while on their regular patrol, one fatally. About the same time, Dorner’s badge and briefcase were found near Lindbergh Field in San Diego. The search was then expanded to include the entire state of California as well as Nevada.

By Thursday evening, a burned out truck that was found about 8:30 am in Big Bear, CA was identified as belonging to Dorner. A full scale search for the suspect was initiated including cars, houses and the forest areas surrounding the area. The search continued throughout the snow on Friday and resumed again today. The search will continue until either Dorner is found or officials are given a reason to stop, possibly a lead that takes them elsewhere.

Dorner’s mother’s house in La Palma, CA as well as his house in Las Vegas, NV have been searched in hopes that some other leads may be revealed.

Multiple People Shot, At Least Two Dead, Outside Empire State Building

Several people have been shot, at least two fatally, in a police-involved shooting outside the Empire State Building this morning. Early police scanner reports indicated the shooting was related to a robbery but it now appears it may have been a workplace dispute. The gunman was fatally shot by the police. A innocent woman also appears to have been killed in the crossfire. According to the FDNY there are “several” people being taken to nearby hospitals while they mitigate the scene.

The shooting began just after 9 a.m. Exactly how many people were shot is still unclear but appears to be between 8 and 10. At 9:44 a.m. it came over the news scanners that the perp may be a recently fired worker who returned to the building where he had worked. According to one person who claims to be a witness the shooter had a specific target:I was about 50 feet away from the guy who was killed, and it was definitely a targeted shooting. Apparently he walked right up to the guy and shot him in the head. I was one of the first there, thinking I could take my jacket off to help the guy who was shot, but he was gone already.

Just FYI, this has nothing to do with the ESB. It just happens to be right across the street from where it occurred. Its not a shooting that took place in the building, or some kind of terrorist activity. Just stating this because some would assume its a guy who opened fire in a tourist attraction, and that was not the case.

ABC7 reports that at least one victim was shot in a nearby Duane Reade when a bullet went through a window. Reportedly, “Some shooting victims were found inside the lobby of the Empire State Building, others found outside.””The shot rang out, and everybody started running,” one witness told the News. “Oh man, there must have been 12 or 13 shots. It was amazing.”Meanwhile, the Empire State Buildings observatory is open to the public.Bloomberg is now on the scene and expected to speak at 11 a.m. Stay tuned for updates.

Dark Knight Rises, Colorado shooter first target Manhattan NY

Inside Edition recently aired a clip claiming that the Colorado mass murder’s first target was the Batman Priemere in the upper Westside of Manhattan NY.

His goal was to kill Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and the entire cast of Batman Dark Knight Rises, but for some reason believed the New York police were on to him.

The masked gunman responsible for the Denver shooting has been named as 24 year old James Holmes.

Eyewitnesses report that Holmes entered the packed cinema, during the midnight premiere of the Batman film “The Dark Knight Rises”, and threw smoke grenades into the crowd, before opening fire, with four guns. He was wearing a gas mask and body armor.

He appears to have shot at random, killing 12 and leaving 38 wounded; Holmes shot men, women and children. His youngest victim was a 4 month old baby.

One of those killed was 24 year old sports journalist Jessica Ghawi, she had survived another mass shooting last month in Toronto, Canada.

Holmes was then arrested at his car, which he had parked at the rear of the cinema. When arrested he told police, “I’m the Joker.”

The Joker is Batman’s arch enemy in the comic book series. Holmes had painted his hair red. His mask and body armour also resembled the villain, Bane, in the film “The Dark Knight Rises”. Some eyewitnesses said when they first saw him, they thought he had come dressed as Bane – as many other movie goers had dressed up in Batman costumes for the Premiere.

Investigators are working on the theory that Holmes was acting out scenes from the Batman comics in his attack.

When FBI later raided his home they found it booby trapped, and stacked with high explosives.

It has emerged that James Holmes was a neuroscience student, who dropped out of university last month, giving no reason for doing so. He had no previous convictions, and is not believed to be affiliated to any terrorist group.

Colorado is no stranger to mass shootings. The Columbine High School shootings took place less than 30 miles away 13 years ago, when 13 people lost their lives.

And it was only a few weeks ago that the Colorado Springs area was devastated by wildfires. Are these events random coincidences or are they linked?
