The number of new and existing houses and condominiums sold during the month plummeted nearly 18 percent compared with September 2017, according to CoreLogic.
That was the slowest September pace since 2007, when the national housing and mortgage crisis was hitting.
The median price of Southern California homes sold in September, $505,000, was still 3.6 percent higher than it was a year ago. That was the lowest annual gain for any month in more than three years.

Home price growth cools for fifth straight month

Home prices in the U.S. rose at a slower pace for the fifth consecutive month, yet another sign that the housing market is cooling down.

Standard & Poor’s said Tuesday that its S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller national home price index reported a 5.8% annual gain in August, down from 6% in the previous month. It is the first time in a year that annual gains fell below 6%. The 20-City Composite posted a 5.5% year-over-year increase, down from 5.9% in July — substantially lower than analysts’ expectation of 5.8%.

“Following reports that home sales are flat to down, price gains are beginning to moderate,” said David M. Blitzer, managing director and chairman of the index committee at S&P Dow Jones Indices, in a press statement. “Other housing data tell a similar story: prices and sales of new single family homes are weakening, housing starts are mixed and residential fixed investment is down in the last three quarters.”

Martha MacCallum says it’s wrong for the president to label journalists ‘the enemy of the people’

As President Donald Trump amplifies his attacks on journalists, one Fox News host is calling out the chief executive for his hostile rhetoric.

Martha MacCallum, anchor of the network’s prime-time show “The Story with Martha MacCallum,” said she took it “personally” when the president applied blanket labels to the news media.

Ben and Jerry’s Resist

Just in time for the midterm elections, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream has launched “pecan resist,” a flavor the company says is meant to convey that “We can peacefully resist the Trump administration’s regressive and discriminatory policies and build a future that values inclusivity, equality, and justice for people of color, women, the LGBTQ community, refugees, and immigrants.” Also, that “We cannot ignore the Trump administration’s attacks on our values, our environment, and our very humanity.”

Ben & Jerry’s is a wholly owned subsidiary of Unilever, the British-Dutch consumer products company. So if you oppose foreign interference in American elections (say, Russia 2016) or corporate involvement in American elections (say, you disagree with the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision), or even if you just prefer your ice cream with hot fudge or whipped cream on top rather than partisan politics, maybe choose a different brand? I guess in Ben & Jerry’s defense, it also took on President Obama back in 2015 by criticizing his Trans-Pacific Partnership trade pact. Maybe Ben & Jerry’s should roll out a flavor devoted to thanking Trump for killing the TPP?

French Senate Adopts Anti-Antifa Bill That Sees Masked Extremists Face Heavy Fines

The French Senate has adopted a new bill to curb violence from far-left extremists that could see fines of up to 15,000 euros and potential prison time for masked “black bloc” rioters.
The new bill was adopted by the Senate on Tuesday and specifically targets members of Antifa black bloc groups which often show up to protests to cause property damage and violence against political opponents and police, reports FranceInfo.

Willful concealment of protestors’ faces will now carry a proposed 15,000 euro fine and a prison sentence of up to one year. The bill also allows for authorities to ban individuals deemed harmful to the public good from protests entirely.

The new bill was proposed by the conservative Republicans but was rejected and voted against by the Communists, the Socialist party, and French President Emmanuel Macron’s Le Republique En Marche! (LREM).

“This bill clearly erases public freedoms, including the freedom to demonstrate,” said the chairman of the majority-Communist CRCE group. The comments were countered by Republican senator Catherine Troendle who said: “This in no way undermines the freedom to demonstrate but, on the contrary, is there to ensure the free exercise of it.”

Left-extremist violence has seen a dramatic rise in recent years in France, especially during protests like those against populist politician Marine Le Pen last year during the French presidential election.

The Antifa extremists involved in the protests, which often become riots, have smashed up shops in central Paris, assaulted police officers, and even attempted to set them on fire in some cases with improvised incendiary weapons.

France is not the only country to have problems with Antifa violence during protests. Last year the German city of Hamburg saw rioting during the G20 summit where shops were smashed, cars set on fire, and hundreds of police were injured.

Following the riots, the German government shut down the major Antifa website Linksunten and has arrested several extremists in connection with the violence.

Defaming Muhammad does not fall under purview of free speech, European court rules

The freedom of speech does not extend to include defaming the prophet of Islam, the European Court of Human rights ruled Thursday.

The Strasbourg-based ECHR ruled that insulting Islamic prophet Muhammad “goes beyond the permissible limits of an objective debate” and “could stir up prejudice and put at risk religious peace.”

The court’s decision comes after it rejected an Austrian woman’s claim that her previous conviction for calling Muhammad a pedophile, due to his marriage to a 6-year-old girl, violated her freedom of speech.

The ECHR ruled Austrian courts had “carefully balanced her right to freedom of expression with the right of others to have their religious feelings protected.”

The woman, in her late 40s and identified only as E.S., claimed during two public seminars in 2009 that Muhammad’s marriage to a young girl was akin to “pedophilia.”

According to Islamic tradition, the marriage between Muhammad and a 6-year-old girl was consummated when she was 9 years old and he was about 50.

The Austrian woman stated in her seminars that Muhammad “liked to do it with children” and “… A 56-year-old and a 6-year-old? … What do we call it, if it is not pedophilia?”

A Vienna court convicted her in 2011 of disparaging religious doctrines, ordering her to pay a $547 fine, plus legal costs. The ruling was later upheld by an Austrian appeals court.

The woman argued her comments fell within her right of freedom of expression and that religious groups must tolerate criticism. She also argued her comments were intended to contribute to public debate and not designed to defame Muhammad.

The ECHR said the Austrian court’s decision “served the legitimate aim of preserving religious peace.”

The court also said the woman’s comments were not objective, failed to provide historical background and had no intention of promoting public debate.

The Ugly Terror Truth About Jamal Khashoggi

The media wants the Saudis to answer questions about Jamal Khashoggi. But maybe the media should be forced to answer why the Washington Post was working with a Muslim Brotherhood propagandist?

In high school, Jamal Khashoggi had a good friend. His name was Osama bin Laden.

“We were hoping to establish an Islamic state anywhere,” Khashoggi reminisced about their time together in the Muslim Brotherhood. “We believed that the first one would lead to another, and that would have a domino effect which could reverse the history of mankind.”

The friendship endured with Jamal Khashoggi following Osama bin Laden to Afghanistan. Khashoggi credited Adel Batterjee, listed at one time as one of “the world’s foremost terrorist financiers” by the Treasury Department, with bringing him to Afghanistan to report on the fighting.

The media calls Khashoggi a journalist, but his writings from 80s Afghanistan read as Jihadist propaganda with titles like, “Arab Mujahadeen in Afghanistan II: Exemplifies the Unity of Islamic Ummah”.

And when Osama bin Laden set up Al Qaeda, he called Khashoggi with the details.

After Afghanistan, Jamal Khashoggi went to work as a media adviser for former Saudi intel boss, Prince Turki bin Faisal, alleged to have links to Al Qaeda. Those allegations came from, among others, Zacarias Moussaoui, the alleged twentieth hijacker.

When the other 19 hijackers perpetrated the attacks of September 11, Khashoggi wrote that the Saudis would not “give in” to American “demands” for “unconditional condemnation” and “total cooperation”.

Exorcist battles witches cursing Justice Brett Kavanaugh

Please join the event, National Rosary to Support Justice Brett Kavanaugh, all prayers welcome!

The news that a group of feminist witches are planning to curse newly confirmed U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh are inspiring Catholics across the nation to spiritually support their fellow Catholic.

During the vicious confirmation process (trial?), I added Kavanaugh and his family to my daily prayers. Today I sent out a Hallmark card saying “Congratulations” to the justice, mailing it to his Supreme Court office.

Other Catholics are taking more spiritual measures to assist Kavanaugh.

A Catholic exorcist said he plans to hold a mass for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh next weekend after a group of witches announced their plans to gather in Brooklyn to publicly hex him.

“Conjuring up personified evil does not fall under free speech,” Father Gary Thomas, who serves as an exorcist for the Diocese of San Jose, Calif., told The National Catholic Register.

The San Jose exorcist asserts that those practicing such dark magic are evil.

Father Thomas said that those involved in the curse on Kavanaugh clearly believe in the power of personified evil. “They are going to direct the evil to have a permanently adverse effect on the Supreme Court justice,” he said.

“When curses are directed at people in a state of grace, they have little or no effect,” Father Thomas said. Otherwise, he has witnessed harm come upon people such as physical illness, psychosis, depression and having demons attach to them. Curses sometimes involve a blood sacrifice either through an animal or a human being, such as an aborted baby, according to him. However, there is no information about a blood sacrifice one way or the other for the Saturday event.

“The decision to do this against a Supreme Court justice is a heinous act and says a lot about the character of these people that should not be underestimated or dismissed,” he said. “These are real evil people.”

Father Thomas is perhaps the best known Exorcist today.

Thomas was ordained for the Diocese of San Jose in 1983 and his work as an Exorcist is so widely known that he was the subject of a 2011 film called The Rite. The film is loosely based on the Matt Baglio’s book The Rite: The Making of a Modern Exorcist.

The book chronicled Thomas’ training in the rite of exorcism, as well as, other accounts of exorcists at work. In the novel, the author also recounted Thomas’ own experience confronting the Devil and the history of exorcism in the Catholic Church.

Catholics are also responding to the witches’ Facebook events page to indicate their support of Kavanaugh.

Back when I was a Tea Party organizer, I read Saul Alinsky’s Rule for Radicals. I am going to apply RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”

I have created my own Facebook event, National Rosary to Support Justice Brett Kavanaugh. If you are Catholic, please pray the Rosary, and say the Prayer to St. Michael, with me between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. this Saturday. I will enjoy saying these prayers very much, knowing that I am countering the work of bitter feminists while supporting a fellow Catholic.

If you are not a Catholic, please add your prayers, thoughts, and vibes during these hours! I suspect that Justice Kavanaugh will have a lot of spiritual warriors on his side tomorrow.

Supreme Coven: Witches in New York to Hold Public Ritual to ‘Hex’ Kavanaugh

A coven of New York witches is holding a public ceremony next week to cast a hex on Justice Brett Kavanaugh, in what Tucker Carlson described as the latest left-wing effort to stop his rise to the high court.

“Liberal Sherpa” Cathy Areu said the hexing will take place in Brooklyn, and that it will include an optional $10 donation to take part.

Carlson said part of the proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood, to “fund their own human sacrifice rituals.”

He said that it is appropriate that the Democratic Party, which “conducts witch hunts” also “conducts witchcraft.”

Areu said the coven previously cast three hexes on President Trump and considered their efforts successful in partially stymieing his administration’s goals.

NEW YORK WITCHES CALL FOR WOMEN TO PUT HEX ON JUSTICE KAVANAUGH FOR SOMETHING HE DID NOT DO- He was accused of doing what all high school kids do, kissing or rolling around in bed with the opposite sex… however he didn’t do it. But that is all it takes to get idiot women into witchcraft and cursing what God is doing… BTW the event will donate a portion of income to insure killing babies stays strong in the USA.

Ha ha ha…
Bible says a curse sent causeless will not fall…

Insanity on:
Seems to me, women who want to kill babies would want a justice who uses women for sex and makes sure they can kill the baby afterwards… So he is not responsible…

The Devil always tips his hand because there is no LOGIC–

If Brett did this, the witches who like to sacrifice babies to the god Moloc should embrace this…

Insanity off:
Reality on:
They are mad because BETT WORKS FOR GOD ! and they are afraid their daughters will loose their rights to kill babies sometime in the future…

Witches to Hex Justice Kavanaugh in Occult Ritual in NYC

By Michael W. Chapman | October 11, 2018 | 4:38 PM EDT

(CNSNews.com) — Witches plan to place a public hex on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh through an occult ritual on Oct. 20 in New York City, an event sponsored by Catland Books, which describes itself as “Brooklyn’s premiere occult bookshop & spiritual community space.” The planned ritual has been advertised on Facebook.

“Please join us for a public hex on Brett Kavanaugh, upon all rapists and the patriarchy at large which emboldens, rewards and protects them,” reads the description for the event, “Ritual to Hex Brett

CURSE GOD’S ANOINTED

Occultists in Brooklyn, New York, are so incensed with the confirmation of Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court that they are gathering to put a hex on him.

The three witches from William Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” famously offered the incantation “double, double toil and trouble. Fire burn and cauldron bubble,” but Oct. 20 is setting up for something along the lines of “fire burn and Kavanaugh bubble.”

Catland, which bills itself as Brooklyn’s “premier metaphysical shop and event space,” will host the ritual and donate 25 percent of all proceeds to Planned Parenthood. Another 25 percent will go to the Ali Forney Center, a non-profit organization for homeless LGBT youths.

The events costs $10 per person, although the group says no one will be turned away at the door for lack of funds.

“Please join us for a public hex on Brett Kavanaugh, upon all rapists and the patriarchy at large which emboldens, rewards and protects them,” its Facebook events page reads. “We are embracing witchcraft’s true roots as the magik [sic] of the poor, the downtrodden and disenfranchised and it’s [sic] history as often the only weapon, the only means of exacting justice available to those of us who have been wronged by men just like him.”
