During a heated debate on abortion funding Rep. Norma Torres (D-CA) said she was sick of “sex-starved” men voicing opinions on woman’s issues. Her remakes caused anger, and she was asked to withdraw them, which she agreed to do.
China has long been developing its naval capability. Western nations are now concerned about the size and capability of the Chinese submarine force. It is believed that China has developed a fleet of submarines capable of carrying ballistic missiles and nuclear warheads.
This comes at a time when China is showing increasing interest in the Arctic. For example Denmark are concern by Chinese plans to build a research station and satellite base on Greenland.
Despite having no land on the Arctic, China has been increasing submarine activity in the region. So far China have openly sought to increase their civilian activity in the region; however Arctic nations say this will lead to an increase in military activity.
The 850 year old Notre Dame Cathedral has been engulfed in fire, with the iconic spire totally destroyed. It remains to be seen what will be left of the structure once the blaze has been extinguished.
The Cathedral is seen as one of the most important national symbols of France surviving since the 1200s.
Although the cause is unknown at present, speculation has been pointed towards restoration work which was being carried out at the Cathedral. Last year the Roman Catholic church launched an appeal to raise money for the restoration work in a bid to save the ancient building for future generations.

This has lead to comparisons being drawn between President Trump and Queen Esther of the Bible.
When asked about the comparison in an interview, with CBN, Secretary of State Pompeo suggested that God could have sent Trump to help save Israel.

According to TechCruch, “Facebook went so far as to ask users to screenshot and submit their Amazon order history.”
So who has a problem with Facebook paying people to harvest their data?
Apple, that’s who.
With its pay-to-play research app, Facebook broke those rules. The Cupertino boys weren’t happy.
Punishment was swift — Apple revoked Facebook’s access to its “enterprise developer” program…
