Oil Prices drop to $91 per barrel which should improve the cost of living-

Monday saw a drop in oil prices which has continued through today. No one can figure out what happened, as much of the news reports.

Many are quick to report that these are all indicators of a further down turn in the economy.

But we must be quick to remember, it is HIGH oil prices that drive the cost of living up and CHEAP oil prices that bring prosperity.

Which brings the question, is the news media bent on seeing the worst on every side or have they just been doing it for so long that they forgot to be optimistic?

  1. I can’t even believe I’m even commenting here, but I’ve gotta say:
Tim, are you nuts? You are trying to say people supported that TV network, and suddenly the oil prices dropped in the same countries? You’re insane !
Everyone knows everything is controlled by evil rich people period !

  2. Great, we need oil prices to go down, it been up too high too long. When oil prices goes up, the price of everything goes up.

  3. I am a semi pro investor and watch the markets daily. Oil prices were up all last week due to the fear of the Middle East destabilizing because of all the Muhammad movie protests. This week though for absolutely no specific reason, prices are slipping. It is like the bubble popped. There has been no specific news to trigger this especially with investors being on edge with Iran and Straits of Hormuz situation. Prices should be rising higher out of fear, this is nothing short of a miracle.

  4. To hell with your cheap oil. That is all the west thinks about a d would go to any lengths to destabilize nations to reach this goal. The west destabilized Iraq and Afghanistan, all for the pursuit of money. Why can’t we all Judy follow the Buddhists philosophy of peace and non violence, that would do a lot of good for this greedy planet.
