This teaching in the afternoon at the request of the Tibetan and Kalmyk Communities at the Lincoln Center.

New York State is of special interest to the Dalai Lama as he has worked with Tibetan refugees living in Ithica to establish a center architecturally designed as a representation of the Kalachakra Mandala. Kalachakra is the time god of Tibetan Buddhism as one of the main tenants of Tibetan Buddhist ritual in this day is to shift the age out of the age of Pisces and into the age of Aquarius. This center has been built as a repository “within a free country” of Tibetan Buddhist culture and ritual. Tibet is no longer a free county. This is the subject of a DVD being released.

  2. What an inspiration this man is. People, please learn choose real heroes like him that actually make a difference in this world.

  3. The Dalai Lama will be speaking at Avery Fisher Hall at 10 Lincoln Center from 1.30-3.30pm on 21st.
