A ‘Superpower’ That Couldn’t Keep the Lights On

Things are not so bright in India right now.

Initially we saw corruption of a magnitude not seen in the developed world.  Then we saw a tax on the job creators.  The economy therefore predictably slowed and the rupee devalued.

Now India’s infrastructure is showing its frailties and is demonstrating how it can’t keep the darkness at bay.

This has affected over 600 million people, maybe more.

  1. India has massive corruption at all levels of society. Not surprising to see this. Then again it is not easy managing 1 billion people. There is still massive poverty which comes from the prevalent hindu culture. Most westerners find it exotic to dabble on Indian culture and religion (Hinduism and Buddhism) but they don’t realize that the very spirit on it brings sickness and poverty. It is a myth that Britain raped India of all it’s wealth, India has been the way it is for centuries because of who they worship.

Imagine a giant population like this where maybe half are starving under the poverty line and no access to eat beef because they worship it! A country with tons of healthy cattle which cannot be eaten as everyone else starves! Twisted thinking or a dirty spirit at the root?
