A 4.2 magnitude earthquake hit Oklahoma hours after Trump’s campaign rally. The quake is the largest recorded earthquake in Oklahoma.

China is Collecting DNA Samples from Tens of Millions of Males
Across China tens of millions of men and boys are being compelled to give blood samples for the government’s DNA mapping project. The Chinese government have been collecting samples since 2017, and the data will be paired with the country’s wider surveillance program.
The aim is to genetically map the countries 700 million males. With the database the authorities will be able to track down the male relatives of any citizen in the country.
A U.S. company, Thermo Fisher, has come under fire for selling the Chinese government the testing kits used in the program.
The genetic testing along with the extensive surveillance databases Beijing have created is an increasing worry to minority groups in the country. Christian and Muslim minorities have already been targeted by the government. As well as those who have criticised Beijing or who seek greater freedom in the country.

Trump Signs Executive Order on Police Reform
President Trump has signed an executive order for police reform, the order will include a ban on chokeholds, unless the police officers life is at risk.
The President voiced support for the police, saying it promoted “the highest professional standards.” He also said, “These standards will be as high and as strong as there is on Earth.”
“We’re united by our desire to ensure peace and dignity and equality for all Americans,” The President has met with the family of Ahmaud Arbery, who died at the hands of two white men earlier this year.
“These are incredible people … and it’s so sad. Many of these families lost their loved ones in deadly interactions with police … All Americans mourn by your side, your loved ones will not have died in vain,” Trump said. “I can promise to fight for justice for all of our people and I gave a commitment to all of those families … We are going to pursue what we said we will be pursuing it, and we will be pursuing it strongly.”

Jim Carrey Floats Left Wing Conspiracy Theory
Jim Carrey posted on his Twitter account a left wing conspiracy theory saying that the President might be about to defect to a foreign country.
“Be wary of diplomatic missions to Moscow prior to the Nov elections,” Carrey tweeted with a political painting be created. “Given the list of possible indictments he faces, Traitor Trump may be the first American President to defect.”

NYPD Disbands Plain Clothes Police Department
The NYPD Commissioner has said the plain clothes department will be disbanded, with 600 cops being reassigned to other departments.
The anti-crime unit targets violent crime. The plain clothes department have been involved in a number of police shootings.
“This is a seismic shift in the culture of how the N.Y.P.D. polices this great city,” commissioner, Dermot F. Shea, said. “It will be felt immediately in the communities that we protect.”

Supreme Court Rule Civil Rights Laws Cover LGBTQ
US Supreme Court backs by 6-3 that employers firing someone for being gay or transgender are breaking civil rights laws.
Employers argued that the 1964 Civil Rights Act was not intended to include cases involving sexual orientation.
“An employer who fires an individual for being homosexual or transgender fires that person for traits or actions it would not have questioned in members of a different sex,” said Judge Neil Gorsuch.

New Police Departmetn for Hong Kong to Enforce New National Security Law
Hong Kong’s chief security official, John Lee Ka-chiu confirmed that a new police force will be created to enforce the New Security Law which Beijing is imposing on the island.
The unit will have intelligence gathering capabilities and will coordinate with Chinese officials.
“I’m sure that the mainland [Chinese] authorities have a much wider network of intelligence gathering and also a much higher level of analysis. They have a helicopter view of the whole thing. So they will let us know the whole picture when we, as a city, may not be able to just use our information,” Lee said.

FBI Warn of Cybercriminals and Fake Banking Apps
As the Coronavirus pandemic has caused banks to shut down, more customers are using mobile banking apps to conduct their business. However, the FBI have warned there is an increase in the number of fake banking apps and other malware. Cyber criminals are seeking to steal personal data and gain access to bank accounts
Trojan banking apps have also been created. These apps masquerade as games or utilities which activate when a user opens their banking app. The trojan then takes over showing a fake log in screen.

Dalai Lama to Release First Album
Next month the Dalai Lama will release his first album. The album will be a collection of his mantras and teachings set to music. The project was the brain child of musician Junelle Kunin, herself a practising Buddhist.
“I’d never heard him speak like this. He really was so excited … he actually proceeded to explain to me how important music is,” Kunin said. “He leaned forward and his eyes were sparkling, and his fingers were rubbing together and he (talked) about how music can help people in a way that he can’t; it can transcend differences and return us to our true nature and our good heartedness.”

Black Lives Matter Cashes in From Liberal Foundations
As Black Lives Matter appears to be a grass roots, street based group, it has highly influential supporters with deep pockets. In 2016 The Washington Times reported on the millions of dollars in funding flooding into the organization:
Black Lives Matter has seen more than $100 million from liberal foundations and donations.
The Ford Foundation and Borealis Philanthropy recently announced the formation of the Black-Led Movement Fund [BLMF]. The $100 million fund is in addition to $33 million funding from George Soros.
“The BLMF provides grants, movement building resources, and technical assistance to organizations working advance the leadership and vision of young, Black, queer, feminists and immigrant leaders who are shaping and leading a national conversation about criminalization, policing and race in America,” said the Borealis announcement.
However, the foundation has also aligned itself with the staunch far-left group Movement for Black Lives. The group has called Israel an “apartheid state” guilty of “genocide.”
Their goals include defunding police departments, race-based reparations, voting rights for illegal immigrants, fossil-fuel divestment, an end to private education and charter schools, a “universal basic income,” and free college for blacks.
