Market initially rally, but Slump Amid Spanish Debt Fears

After the conservative victory in the Greek election the markets rallied at the opening of trading. However, they soon began to fall again- worries about Spain’s economic position dominating trading.

Spain’s borrowing costs are now so high they are finding themselves locked out of the debt markets. This is despite a bailout of their banking system.

Euro crisis far from over, stock analysts warn

By PAUL WISEMAN and JOSHUA FREED

Violent protests in Greece

WASHINGTON (AP) — A slim victory for the main conservative party in an election in Greece should relax fears that a country will stop using the euro for the first time and possibly unleash global financial turmoil.

But when it comes to Greek politics – and European economic policy – it’s never that easy. So the bumpy ride for financial markets isn’t over yet.

Within hours my wife turns on me for not being catholic enough and we had a major argument with her ultimatum being i stop financially  supporting PTV, but I held my ground.

I woke up monday morning angry and bruised but went straight back into praying and prophesying.

Went on lunch from work to the murder site too to redeem the land. The net

So lot of warfare, but I’m right here. Got to stay undercover to calm the wife but I’m always watching Prophet.tv outside the house and at work. So I am not going anywhere.

It frustrates me to not get on live every sunday and talk to everyone openly, but i have to be wise to win her soul now. All in good time, the Lord will use me to set her free of religion.

Everybody should listen to the “Famous Building the Warrior Series”, it really helped me!

MUNRO: Obama ignores questions about controversial de facto amnesty decision 800,000 foreigners aged 15 to 30

President Barack Obama declined to take any questions from reporters about his controversial and significant decision to offer a de facto amnesty to at least 800,000 foreigners aged 15 to 30.

The announcement of the decision comes at a time of record unemployment among low-skilled workers, Hispanics and African-Americans.

For example, less than 50 percent of younger African-Americans have full-time jobs, according to data provided by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Unemployment among Hispanics, youth and African-Americans rose in May, according to the BLS.

Obama justified his immigration decision by saying it is supported by business lobbies.

The president has often used this no-questions strategy when making important or poll-boosting announcements. (VIDEO: Reporter explains his Rose Garden exchange with Obama)

He declined to answer TheDC’s shouted question about the impact of his new policy on American workers. He also failed to answer another reporter’s question.

Obama’s deputy, Janet Napolitano, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, followed the same strategy Friday during a morning telephone press-conference. She gave a short statement and then left the conference while two officials provided not-for-attribution answers to selected reporters’ questions.

The reporters selected to offer questions included established media outlets and Spanish-language outlets. The chosen outlets included the Los Angeles Times, CNN, National Journal, Univision, The New York Times and La Prensa.

The selected reporters did not ask about the controversial impact on American workers.

American citizenship is a highly valued status, because it provides Americans with legal protections worldwide and gives them access to the shared wealth and sympathy of other Americans. Millions of illegal immigrants have risked their lives to win the prize for themselves and their children.

Obama has been under increased pressure from Hispanic lobbies to provide access to citizenship for up to 10 million illegal immigrants, whose arrival will boost the clout of ethnic lobbies.

In general, Democratic politicians have favored easy immigration, despite the impact it has on American workers, who provided the party’s base up until the 1980s.

Ronald Poppo photos released

…Jackson Memorial Hospital released two photos of 65-year-old Ronald Poppo with his permission on Tuesday afternoon, one showing him walking down a corridor assisted on either side by a hospital worker.

A look at Poppo’s horrific injuries, roughly 2 and a half weeks after the shocking assault on Miami’s MacArthur causeway:

Poppo, who is believed to have been homeless in Miami since the mid-to-late 1970s, is covered by Medicare and Medicaid, officials said.

Poppo was lazing on the MacArthur Causeway’s westbound Biscayne Boulevard exit ramp sidewalk May 26 when attacked in broad daylight by naked 31-year-old North Miami Beach resident Rudy Eugene, who was caught on surveillance camera trying to strip off Poppo’s clothes before brutalizing his face.

A police officer responding to multiple 911 calls from drivers and cyclists shot and killed Eugene when he reportedly ignored orders to stop chewing Poppo’s face. An autopsy reportedly discovered Poppo’s flesh in the so called “Miami Cannibal”‘s mouth, but not in his stomach. Police have speculated that Eugene may have been under the influence of a synthetic drug, but a full toxicology report is still pending.

Could France Need a Bail-Out?

The former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown has spoken ahead of next week’s G20 summit in Mexico, about the prospect of a required bailout for Italy and France. Gordon Brown has called for the G20 to begin to draw up a “concerted global action plan” to deal with the crisis.

This comes after German Chancellor Angela Merkel, attacked the French President Francois Hollande for allowing the French economy to stall. She also echoed Mr Brown’s comments, warning that Hollande’s socialist policies could lead to France being enveloped by the debt crisis.

Last year, when officials began to speak of the contagion spreading to Italy and Spain, no solid measures were put in place, and now we are on the brink of Spain requiring a full bail-out (the bailout currently under consideration is only to bailout their struggling banking system). Spain and Italy were both labelled at the time as “too big to fail”.  At that time the thought of a French bailout was unthinkable.

However, it is expected that the summit in Los Cabos, Mexico, will see world leaders continuing to pressure Chancellor Angela Merkel to agree to Eurobonds. Mrs Merkel has left Germany for the summit, remaining steadfast in her tough austerity stance – in the face of French opposition from Francois Hollande, and with President Obama also backing the new French President.

The Sinking of the Euro Ship or a Step Towards a “German Empire”

Speech from Nigel Farage

With the Spanish banks now in line for a bail-out of €100 billion you would think the markets would be delighted. That faith and confidence would return, that Spain’s salvation from economic oblivion has been averted… hip hip hooray!

Not so fast… the markets have not reacted with joy and happiness. The markets may know more about the present deal than the politicians would like them to.

The fact is Spain’s economic woes require much more than €100 billion. If Nigel Farage of the UK Independence Party (UKIP), and Member of the European Parliament, is to be believed, Spain requires € 400 billion. Watch the part of Farage’s speech to the European Parliament, he explains the problem of the Spanish bailout perfectly.

What is more, the bailout may have averted the bankruptcy of Spain’s banking sector in the short term, but it still has not solved the fundamental problems of the Eurozone. Sadly for the countries of the Eurozone, the only way out of their problems is for a polling of sovereign debt and far greater economic and political ties. This would mean a common economic policy, and loss of national sovereignty.

As George Soros warned last week the solution to the problems will very probably see Europe looking like a German Empire, Mr Soros said in his speech in Italy, “It would be a German empire with the periphery as the hinterland,” Well if Germany is to shoulder the debt of it’s neighbours, she will want to call the shots, and determine the economic path of the Eurozone.

The sad irony is that the EU was established in the wake of the second world war , for the precise reason of stopping German might from taking control of Europe- something which tore Europe apart twice in the 20th century. An important lesson from history that Brussels would do well to remember: attempts in Europe’s history to unite the continent under one rule of government has caused wars throughout the centuries: from Hitler to Napolian Bonaparte.

Military drone mistaken for ‘UFO’ along DC highways

Updated: Jun 14, 2012 5:40 PM PDT

By John Henrehan, FOX 5 Reporter

WASHINGTON – A saucer-shaped object on a very wide flatbed truck had some people wondering if the government was moving a UFO in or near Washington, D.C., Wednesday night. The truck came south on I-270, then took the inner loop of the Capital Beltway from Montgomery County into Prince George’s County. When motorists snapped photos of the strange object and posted them on Twitter, some people became concerned enough to call local police. One man called 911 in Prince George’s County because, he said, he was concerned about a relative who lived along the route. LISTEN: 9-1-1 call reporting “UFO” because it’s trending Twitter! Asked by a befuddled dispatcher what the object looked like, the caller replied hesitantly, “…ah… a UFO. I mean, I don’t really know. I don’t see too many UFO’s on a regular basis.” LINK: Photo gallery of “UFO” on DC Beltway Well, it turns out the mysterious object on the truck cruising around the Beltway is capable of flight. It’s an experimental, unmanned aircraft called an X-47B, according to Northrop Grumman spokesman Brooks McKinney. The company spokesman said the saucer-like shape of the aircraft is a deliberate effort to make it harder to detect. “[It’s] a shape that minimizes its refection of potential … enemy radar signals,” said McKinney, who also pointed out that the aircraft has no tail. The spacy-looking aircraft was being delivered to Patuxent Naval Air Station for testing. The manufacturer hopes that someday the government will purchase many of the drones so they can be stationed aboard U.S. Navy aircraft carriers. McKinney said the remotely-piloted aircraft can be used for surveillance or can be rigged to carry weapons. Two of the experimental aircraft are now in Maryland. Why not fly the drones from their previous base in California? McKinney said the FAA is not currently keen on unmanned transcontinental flights. You May Also Like…. Greeks Withdraw $1 Billion a Day Ahead of Vote

Reuters | June 13, 2012 | 07:01 AM EDT

Greeks pulled their cash out of the banks and stocked up with food ahead of a cliffhanger election on Sunday that many fear will result in the country being forced out of the euro.

Bankers said up to 800 million euros ($1 billion) were leaving major banks daily and retailers said some of the money was being used to buy pasta and canned goods, as fears of returning to the drachma were fanned by rumors that a radical leftist leader may win the election.

The last published opinion polls showed the conservative New Democracy party, which backs the 130 billion euro ($160 billion) bailout that is keeping Greece afloat, running neck and neck with the leftist Syriza party, which wants to cancel the rescue deal.

As the election approaches, publishing polls is now legally banned and in the ensuing information vacuum, party officials have been leaking contradictory “secret polls”.

On Tuesday, one rumor making the rounds was that Syriza was leading by a wide margin.

“This is nonsense,” one reputable Greek pollster said on condition of anonymity. “Our polls show the picture has not changed much since the last polls were published. Parties may be leaking these numbers on purpose to boost their standing.”
